Victor met Olga Korochanskaya (originally from the town of Soledar, Donetsk region) at a car dealership in 2008. It was the mutual interest in cars that served as the reason for our acquaintance. At the same time, Olga’s father Stanislav Korochansky left the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc and joined the Party of Regions. Olga is a lawyer by training and since her student years she has written works about how Ukraine should become a European country.

On August 1, 2009, 28-year-old Victor married 23-year-old Olga. They secretly got married in Donetsk and celebrated the event in a close family circle. They say that after the wedding, Victor and Olga went to the Yanukovych dacha in Crimea.
