1. We sort the grains, remove excess debris and wash them. To avoid stomach discomfort, it is better to pre-soak the cereal in cold water overnight. Then drain the water and rinse the cereal.

The green type of lentils does not become overcooked because... these are literally green, unripe grains. For lovers of boiled cereals, you need to take the red or brown variety.

2. Peel the tomato, onion, garlic and cut into cubes. Grate the peeled carrots.

3. Cut the bacon into cubes. It will give our soup a spicy smoky flavor.


4. Place bacon on the bottom of a heated saucepan or high frying pan so that it melts a little of the fat and gives off its aroma. When it is slightly fried, add olive oil and onion.

5. Add carrots and garlic to the slightly browned onions and bacon. After a couple of minutes, add the tomato (preferably without the skin) and lentils.

6. Pour chicken broth over all ingredients, season with bay leaf and thyme.

  • Lentils (red) – 170 gr.
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Onion – 1 pc.
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Potatoes – 5 pcs.
  • Meat (we have pork ribs) – 300 gr.
  • Khmeli-suneli – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Paprika – 2 teaspoons
  • Pepper mixture – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Adjika (ours is spicy) – 0.5 teaspoon

1. Peel the vegetables. Cut potatoes and onions into small cubes. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

2. Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl. We select the “frying” function in the menu, the products – “vegetables”. We are waiting for the sound signal, which indicates that the oil has warmed up.

3. Pour onions and carrots into the heated oil in a multicooker, fry them for about 4 minutes.

4. Turn off the frying mode, add washed lentils, potatoes, and meat to the bowl. Pork or chicken are the best meat products. Add your favorite spices to taste. By the way, hops-suneli contains 13 plant aromatic components. And paprika adds sweetness and a beautiful color.

5. Fill our products with 2 liters of boiling water. We set the mode – “soup”, type of product “meat”, duration – 1 hour.

  • Red lentils – 500 gr.
  • Onion – 1 pc.
  • Tomato paste – 100 gr.

1. Pour oil into a heated pan, add chopped onion and fry it.

To prepare we will need:

  • Red lentils – 200 gr.
  • Onion – 1 pc.
  • Carrots – 2 pcs.
  • Potatoes – 3 pcs.
  • Parsley root
  • Smoked chicken – 1 thigh

1. Wash the grains, pour boiling water and cook. The red variety of this cereal cooks quite quickly and is well cooked.

2. In a smoked chicken thigh, separate the meat from the bone. We chop the pulp and set it to cook separately from the lentils along with chopped parsley root in the broth.


3. Peel and finely chop the potatoes, onions, carrots and add to the chicken to cook.

4. Boil the vegetables until tender and add the cooked lentils to them.

Prepare the broth: wash the meat, put it in a saucepan, add water and put it on medium heat. Bring to a boil, skim off the foam, reduce heat and simmer for 35-40 minutes. Meanwhile, peel and wash the vegetables. Cut the potatoes into cubes. Finely chop the onion.

Rinse the lentils with running water several times. Melt the butter and heat in a frying pan. Add the onion and cook, stirring, over medium heat until it becomes translucent. Remove the finished broth from the heat. Remove the meat and strain the liquid. Cut the beef into equal pieces.

Place all vegetables and lentils in the broth. Add salt and pepper, put on the fire and cook for 15 minutes (or until the lentils are done). Wash the parsley, dry and chop. Remove soup from heat. Place meat in each serving plate, pour in soup and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve hot.
