Step 1: prepare the dough, oven and mold.

Grind it there with your hands or grate the Adyghe cheese on a fine or medium grater. Add sour cream, one egg, salt and ground black pepper to taste. Carefully grind these products with a tablespoon until smooth - the filling is ready!

Step 3: form the pie.


Next, on the kitchen table, very carefully unfold the puff pastry to its full length and divide it into 2 equal parts. Place one layer into the prepared pan or baking sheet and smooth it out with your fingers so that there are no lumps.

Place the filling on top of it, spreading it with a tablespoon in an even layer over the surface of the dough. Then we cover it with a second layer of semi-finished flour and pinch the edges on the sides so that there are no gaps.

Next we do it on the surface for now raw pie cuts with a knife or punctures with a dinner fork. Now the air that accumulates inside the product will calmly come out and the baked goods will not swell.

After this, lightly beat a chicken egg in a small bowl and brush it with a pastry brush. upper layer test and proceed to the next step.

Step 4: bake the cake.


Place the mold or baking sheet in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes. After the required time has passed, we put oven mitts on our hands, move the browned baked goods onto a cutting board previously placed on the kitchen table, and cool ready product to room temperature. Then we cut the pie into portions, put them on plates and serve them at the table.

Step 5: serve the pie with Adyghe cheese.


Pie with Adyghe cheese is served warm or chilled as an appetizer or main course.

Place a sheet of puff pastry on a baking surface (greased baking sheet or baking paper). Measure out about 1/3 of the dough and roll this part in one direction so that there is enough of this piece to cover the filling.

Place the cheese filling on the unrolled part of the dough.

Level the filling. Cut the rolled out part of the dough into 5-6 strips.

Twist the dough strips into loose ropes and cover the filling with them. Pinch the edges of the dough to prevent the filling from falling out.

Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.

The finished puff pastry pie with Adyghe cheese is delicious both hot and cold.

Carefully pinch the edges and place the pie in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for half an hour. 10 minutes before the cake is ready, remove it and brush with beaten egg to form a shiny crust. Put it back in the oven to brown. When the pie has cooled, cut it into portions and serve with broth. It will also be very tasty with sweet tea. By the way, this dish is somewhat reminiscent of Uzbek, which is also quite easy to prepare at home.

Adyghe cheese casserole

Ingredients:

  • Adyghe cheese – 500 g;
  • sour cream – 1/2 cup;
  • eggs – 2 pcs.;
  • sugar – 4 tbsp. spoons;
  • flour – 2/3 tbsp.;
  • raisins – 100 g.

Preparation

Grind the cheese in a blender. Add sugar, sour cream and pre-steamed raisins to it. Beat in the eggs. Mix everything thoroughly and gradually add sifted flour. Place the resulting mass in a greased form and place in the oven for 20 minutes, preheated to 200 degrees.

Recipe for lavash pie with Adyghe cheese

Ingredients:

  • lavash – 3 sheets;
  • hard cheese – 200 g;
  • Adyghe cheese – 300 g;
  • eggs – 4 pcs.;
  • sour cream - 1 tbsp.;
  • garlic – 3 cloves;
  • butter – 1 teaspoon;
  • dill, parsley – 1 bunch;
  • salt, ground black pepper - to taste.

Preparation

Grate both types of cheese on a coarse grater, add garlic passed through a press and chopped herbs. Beat two eggs with a pinch of salt and gradually add them to this mixture.

Line the greased pan with a sheet of lavash, the edges should hang down. We divide the remaining sheets into 4 parts each. We immediately put two of them on the bottom, cover them with filling on top, then again with lavash and again with filling. We compact each layer well. Repeat until the cakes are gone. We close the protruding “petals” of the bottom pita bread and fill our pie with a mixture of sour cream and 2 eggs.
