The Sirio device must be installed on the pump's pressure line. Both vertical and horizontal installation. The direction of flow must coincide with the direction of the arrow shown on the device body. Distribution to points of water consumption should occur after the installation.
Water entering Sirio must be free of any solids and/or other substances that could clog check valve, built into the device. To prevent this from happening, it is recommended to install special filters on the pump pressure line.
To limit the number of restarts caused by minor leaks (typical of most systems), install a small hydraulic accumulator (1-2 liters) after Sirio. The pressure in the tank must correspond to the specified device settings.
This will also help ensure smooth operation in systems with high water consumption (for example: dishwashers, drain system in toilet rooms etc.).
Under no circumstances should a check valve be installed between Sirio and the pump or between the device and the source of consumption, as this will lead to malfunctions of the system. If the device is used with submersible pumps, then you can install a check valve in front of the inverter, provided that the valve is located at least 3 meters from the inverter.
It is also necessary to install a check valve on the pump supply pipe to prevent it from draining when the pump is turned off.
