Pallets will have to be arranged in two rows, both horizontally and vertically. I planned to install two pallets at the head between the podium and the wall.
I decided to sand the surfaces of the podium and coat them with white enamel. This is necessary so that the bed linen and mattress cover do not tear, clinging to rough wood.
Before starting work, I prepared the tools and purchased all the necessary materials.
Tools
Since the work of assembling bedroom furniture is mainly associated with lumber, the appropriate tool was needed:

Materials
The need for materials included in the list:

Before starting work, I brought the pallets into the house into the sleeping area, laid out the tools and materials in an accessible order. I checked the container wood again for cracks and dirty spots. After that, I started assembling the bed with my own hands from Euro pallets, having previously compiled the following instructions.
Step-by-step instruction
- I sanded all surfaces of the wooden container with an emery wheel. I simply sanded hard-to-reach places by hand with sandpaper.
- Using a corner machine, I removed all remnants of bark, protruding fragments of wood and smoothed the corners.
- Using a brush, I covered the entire container with drying oil.
- After the drying oil had absorbed and dried, I sanded the wood again.
- All pallets were painted with white enamel.
- I laid the first row of pallets (4 pieces) and installed a headboard made of two pallets.
- In the spaces between the boards on the floor, I marked with a pencil the places where the clamps were attached (steel angles 50 x 50 mm).
- Tara was removed. At the marking points, holes for dowels were drilled using a hammer drill. In the corners I drilled holes for dowels.
- I secured the clamps by hammering the dowels into the wall and floor.
- I put the pallets back in place so that the clamps fit snugly against the pallet boards. The other side of the corners was secured with screws to the support beams of the pallet. In this way I eliminated the possibility of accidental movement of the podium.
- The second row of pallets was laid out on the floor and we began to connect 4 pallets into a single platform.
- The pallets were connected to each other using screws, screwing them in at an angle from bottom to top.
- I laid the top platform on the bottom row of pallets.
- The upper platform was connected to the previously laid pallets with screws.
- Having finished installing the structure, I used a small brush to touch up the damaged areas while assembling the podium bed from pallets with my own hands.
- He laid the mattress and pillows on the bed.
After completing the work, I summed up the time spent on assembling a bed from pallets with my own hands, and also calculated how much money it cost to implement this project.

Assemble the bed frame and coat it with a leveling primer, then the varnish or paint will lie more evenly. The primer is applied with a brush or a narrow roller, after which the pallets are left to dry. The dried frame is opened with varnish or paint in two or three layers.

After this, they are processed in the same way as the frame: covered with stain, varnished or painted.
