Make a shower from a plastic canister. Is it a camp shower? It's simple! Making a tank from sheet steel

Sergey Olegovich, Chelyabinsk asks a question: Good afternoon. Please tell me how to do it camp shower with your own hands. I recently bought a plot of land without buildings, and now I’m developing it. A shower is necessary because after work you need to wash yourself properly. I would like it to be easy to assemble and take with me or hide in the shed when I build it. Thank you in advance for your advice. The expert replies:

Hello. Making a camp shower with your own hands is not difficult. There are several options portable design for washing. The simplest one consists of plastic canister with a plug, electrical tape, a piece of hose or corrugated pipe, a coil of wire.

First you need to make a watering can. Cut off the bottom of the canister using a knife or scissors. A piece of hose needs to be attached to the neck plastic container and secure using electrical tape. A wire hook is attached to the bottom edge of the pipe so that it can be hooked onto the support of the watering can, otherwise all the water will pour out at once. You can do without a hose, then during washing you need to unscrew the lid a little and the water will flow out gradually.

We wrap the resulting watering can to a tree, pole or other support. The same coil of wire, electrical tape, adhesive tape, etc. will work as fasteners. If there is none, then attach it to a fence post if the height allows. If it is too low, then you will need to dig a support for the shower so that it is higher than you and other people who will wash.

The second version of a camp shower consists of a water container (basin, bucket, barrel, tank), a hose with a watering can, which can be bought at any plumbing store, a foot pump, and tape. We wrap the shower head together with the water flow to a tree or pole to the height you need. At the bottom we connect the hose to the pump. On its other side there is another pipe, the other end of which is lowered into a container of water.

For the system to work, you need to press the pump with your feet, then the water will rise to the top and pour out of the watering can. It turns out to be both a shower and an exercise machine. Such camp washing structures are sold in stores, but it is quite possible to assemble them yourself.

Not always for summer shower use a curtain. If you need it, it attaches easily. Place 4 wooden or steel pegs next to the main support for the shower head and pull a regular bathroom curtain or any other fabric between them. To keep it in place, sew fabric ties to it from the inside and use them to tie the curtain to the pegs.

There is also a more extreme version of the camp shower. This way you can wash yourself not only in summer, but also in cold seasons, even at very low temperatures. For example, 15°C. It requires a plastic container with a stopper, a steel vat, large stones, tent fabric or plastic film. The canvas or film is stretched between several trees. For convenience, they can be pre-attached to wooden pegs so as not to have to look for appropriate place, and put the frame anywhere.

First we just choose a place, we don’t put the canvas. We light a fire, heat the boulders in it and heat the water in the vat. Then we mount the canvas frame. Above it we attach a plastic watering can with a cut bottom. After the stones have warmed up, we take them out of the fire and place them inside a kind of shower stall. As they cool down, they warm up the space around them very well. Next, pour warm water into plastic container and carefully unscrew the lid to wash. Sometimes this design is not called a shower, but a camp bath.

This device for taking water procedures appeared in our country relatively recently and immediately attracted the attention of users.

What are the advantages of a trample shower over conventional devices?

CharacteristicsShort description
The total weight of the shower-treadmill does not exceed 2-3 kg, the dimensions, depending on the model, are no more than 30x40 cm. Such linear indicators allow you to constantly transport the device with you and use it at the right time.
There is no need to build special rooms for a shower-treadmill. The watering can can be held in your hands, hung on a tree, attached to a wall, etc. If necessary, the location of the shower can always be changed. If desired, the shower can be connected to a large barrel of water and used permanently.
The device can be used not only for water procedures, but also for watering garden beds, washing a car and other household needs.
The trample shower does not have complex parts, which allows you to significantly increase its service life. In addition, it does not require periodic maintenance or repairs. If there are risks of contamination, then a simple strainer can be installed on the inlet pipe.
The pump pumps water without electricity; it can be installed in the countryside and connected to a large container of water - the shower time is significantly increased. The stomp shower has proven itself well at picnics by the pond, and you can take it with you on hikes.

Before considering options self-made trampling soul, you should learn the principle of operation of the device, such knowledge will help you choose the most successful option, taking into account plumbing experience, financial capabilities and desired technical characteristics.

The treadmill shower consists of the following elements.

Before you start making your own shower-treadmill, you need to find out the technical characteristics of factory devices and what they depend on. This knowledge will make it possible to plan what indicators can be adjusted during production, how to do this and to what positive or negative consequences they will bring it.

Technical characteristics of the shower-treadmill

Maximum water suction depth

It depends on the elasticity of the housing; the stiffer the housing material, the greater the vacuum it can create during an increase in the internal volume. But the suction depth cannot be significantly increased. Why? The fact is that when you press the pump housing, you will have to overcome not only the pressure to supply water to a certain height, but also the resistance of the housing.

Let's consider the features of the pump. For example, a person weighs 70 kg. If the housing creates a vacuum of adequate 15 kN to suck in water, then to create water pressure it will be possible to apply a force of no more than 55 kN (70 kN - 15 kN). This means that the greater the suction depth, the lower the lift height with the same pressing force on the pump. For example, we took the weight of an adult.

What if a child uses the trampoline shower? In connection with this inverse relationship suction and pressure parameters, the designers found an acceptable middle option. The factory device can lift water no more than 50 cm, and the supply pressure depends on the effort applied. Such parameters allow people with light weight to use the trampoline shower; the washing process does not require much physical effort.

Maximum water supply height

The greater the compression force on the pump housing, the higher the water pressure is created. Indicators are limited only by a person’s weight. And of course, the physical strength of the case material.

Performance

Depends on two parameters: the internal volume of the pump and the frequency of pressure. The first parameter is set by the manufacturer; average values are selected. If the pump has a very large volume, then to press the chamber a person does not need to “tread water”, but raise his legs high. This is inconvenient; the designers did not take this route to increase water supply productivity.

The average parameters of the pump are selected in such a way that the volume of water squeezed out from one pump is continuous until the second pump is turned on. But this does not mean that the frequency of pressure can be increased indefinitely. The fact is that the process of filling the pump takes time; you can press on the pump body only after its entire volume is filled with water. Overall dimensions also depend on performance.

Factory models are made of durable rubber, the intake and exhaust valves are installed on special rigid elements. It is almost impossible to find tires in the store that match the physical characteristics. In addition to strength, it needs to be hermetically fixed to the sidewalls, the length and diameter must be coordinated, and stability and durability must be ensured. In connection with such problems, we offer other options for making a shower-treadmill yourself.

Having this knowledge, you can start making your own shower-treadmill. We will consider two device options, both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Pneumatic shower-treadmill

In terms of its operating principle, it bears little resemblance to the factory version, but in terms of comfort it is not only in no way inferior to it, but also superior in many respects. The device we offer pumps not water, but air, although the operating principle of the pumps is the same.

What are the main differences?

  1. If a conventional shower-treadmill takes water from the tank and supplies it to the shower head, then excess pressure is created in a sealed container with water using a foot pump, which pushes the water into the shower head.
  2. The pump does not pump water, but air.
  3. Water pressure can fluctuate within significant limits.

Step-by-step manufacturing instructions

We only give schematic diagram manufacturing, anyone can make minor changes to it, taking into account the available materials. The water from the shower will flow under pressure, the air is pumped by a car pump or frog pumps for inflation rubber boats.

Step 1. Choose a suitable container for water. This can be a plastic twenty-liter bottled water container, metal or plastic barrel, milk can, canister, etc.

Practical advice. If you plan to make your shower mobile, then you don’t need to look for a large capacity. Practice shows that twenty liters is enough to wash one person. In addition, you cannot pump hundreds of liters of water with your feet; this requires a lot of time and physical effort.

We recommend using plastic canisters to make a shower. They have sealed lids, handles for transportation and a capacity of up to 50 liters. Another advantage of this container is that the large wall thickness allows it to withstand significant pressure without problems.

Step 2. Secure the inlet and outlet pipes to the cover. Air will be pumped through one pipe by a pump, the other is used to supply water to the shower head.

For example, consider installation of pipes on the lid of a plastic canister or barrel. The diameter of the nozzles is within 10 mm; select specific values taking into account the diameter of the pump hoses and available parts.

Important. If you hold the lid with your hands, be very careful. Remember that the drill can tear out the cover; be especially careful when drilling after a through hole has appeared on the back side. Side faces cutting tool they grab the plastic and begin to rotate it with great force. It is at this moment that the lid most often breaks in and injures the master.

Step 3. Insert a pipe into the hole; there should be a metric thread. Put on the rubber gaskets (you can do it on one side), install metal washers on top and tighten the connection with nuts.

Practical advice. We strongly do not recommend fixing the pipes using only sealant or glue. While using the unit and pumping air, dynamic forces of alternating directions act on the pipes. Over time, the adhesive or sealant will peel off, causing the joint to fail. If the air outlet is small, then you can still use the shower, but you will have to pump the pump more often and faster. If the gaps are significant, then you will have to do repair work.

Step 4. Attach a long hose to one pipe; it will supply water to the watering can. A short hose for air supply is attached to the second one. To make it easier to put on a plastic hose, heat its end in boiling water and in this state put it on the plastic. After cooling, reduce the diameter of the hose; the connection is quite reliable. Moreover, there will be no high pressure in the hose. If in doubt, additionally secure the end with a small clamp of a suitable diameter. To increase the tightness of the connection, you can tightly wrap several turns of electrical tape around the pipe.

Step 5. If necessary, attach special adapters to the nozzles to connect the pump hose and shower head. Connect them also after heating the end of the hose.

How to use this shower?

Pour water into a container and place it in the sun to warm up. If you don’t have time, you can immediately cold water dilute with warm.

Important. Always leave about a third of the volume of the container for air. Due to this, it will be possible to create a sufficient pressure reserve for a complete outflow of water. Use a foot pump to pump up the air; there is no need to pump up a lot of air. Pressure of one atmosphere lifts water to a height of 10 meters. For your information, bicycle tires have a pressure of only 0.5 atm.

The pump can not be turned off; it has a built-in check valve, eliminating pressure drop. Practice shows that a pressure of approximately one atmosphere can guarantee the pouring of 15 liters of water from a twenty-liter container when it is filled with water to two-thirds of its volume. You can take a shower right away or wait a bit until it warms up to a comfortable temperature.

What are the advantages of the proposed design? There are quite a few of them and they all significantly increase the comfort of using a portable shower.

  1. There is no need to constantly trample on your soul. For elderly and sick people this is a tiring task.
  2. The water is turned on/off as needed. There is an opportunity to wash yourself in peace.
  3. Small children can use the unit. They either turn on the watering can themselves, or wash themselves with the help of their parents.

Such advantages make this design the soul is quite in demand among numerous owners summer cottages. The shower can be installed not only outside the city, but also taken with you on a picnic, fishing or on land plot for agricultural work.

If you install a check valve on the inlet pipe, then such a device will be very useful when processing plants chemicals pest and disease control. A check valve can be purchased at any hardware store. Availability check valve makes it possible to disconnect the pump after pumping air and carry the container in your hand. No need to buy expensive models with the ability automatic regulation pressure. An ordinary rubber valve is enough, normally open state. The valve is held in this position by a spring. When the air stream moves in the opposite direction, the air presses the rubber gasket against the socket and closes its exit from the nozzle.

Stomp shower made from two frog pumps

You can try to make another version of the shower-treadmill. For these purposes, use so-called “frogs” as pumps. These pumps are used to inflate rubber boats. There are two types of devices in the implementation.

  1. Rubber. The body is molded from hard rubber, which, when restored to its original shape after pressing with the foot, pumps air through the inlet valve. When you press the body, the inlet valve closes, the outlet valve opens under pressure, and pressure is supplied to the hose. Pump volume is approximately 1.5 liters.
  2. Plastic(type Bravo 7011). Consist of upper and lower plastic panels, which are connected to each other by especially durable rubberized fabric. The working volume of such pumps can be three or more liters.

The devices also have inlet and outlet valves, and the principle of air injection has been changed. Between two plastic plates a metal spring is installed, it is this that compresses/decompresses depending on the applied forces, the top plastic cover approaches the bottom or moves away from it. Due to such movements, the internal volume of the pumps changes.

Such pumps have the ability to increase the rate of water intake. To do this, you must first remove the rubberized casing; it is fixed to the upper and lower parts with ordinary clamps. Please note that some clamps may be disposable. During tightening, their hooks are deformed; when compressed again, they either slide off or become wedged. Before disassembling such pumps, just in case, buy new clamps. After removing the housing, access to the internal spring is available. It needs to be removed and replaced with a stiffer one, just be sure to install a spring made of stainless alloy steel. We warn you that you must respect the golden mean. A very stiff spring will significantly speed up the suction of water by the pump, but at the same time the force required to compress the device will significantly increase.

Two such pumps are connected into a tee using a tee and plastic tubes. single design. You need to connect two inputs and two outputs. The inlet hose is lowered into a container of water, the outlet hose is connected to the shower head.

The design is ready for use, but it has significant drawbacks.

  1. Pumps cannot lift water from long distances. This will slow down the water supply process; washing under a weak stream is very inconvenient. It is advisable to raise water containers; the height difference is recommended to be at least a meter. In this position, water will enter the pump housing much faster. It is often technologically impossible to increase the inlet opening of pumps; in this way it will not be possible to speed up the water supply.
  2. To mount two pumps, you need to use a special rigid stand, and it cannot be made of wood. And when attaching pumps to other materials, significant difficulties arise. Solving problems will require a lot of time and effort; factory pumps do not have technological holes designed to fix them in a stationary position. We will have to come up with special elements and do it in such a way that the functionality of the devices is not impaired. At the same time, the pumps must sit firmly in place and not move while supplying water.
  3. Manufacturing requires a lot of time and significant material resources. In terms of cost, a ready-made trample shower is quite competitive with a self-made one, and in terms of comfort it is much superior. Is it worth wasting time, money and effort to end up with a device with inferior technical characteristics and increased cost in comparison with ready-made factory analogues?
  4. ABOUT A common disadvantage of all types of trample showers is that they need to be installed on hard surfaces. It may be specially made wooden stand, paving slabs, etc. Otherwise, within a few minutes there will be dirt under your feet, and the grass lawn will turn into a swamp.

We looked at two options for making portable shower units yourself, but there is also a third, in our opinion, the most successful. According to reviews from many owners of a shower-treadmill industrial production, use such devices no more than two or three times. And then they remember the old, simple, cheap and universal method. They buy an ordinary ladle and pour water from the bucket on themselves.

Video – Shower stomp

On long trips, a shower is usually a luxury, especially if the trek is completely self-contained. But even in field conditions You can arrange a primitive shower for yourself. I suggest spending 10 minutes of your time and making a camp shower from a bottle and a dropper with your own hands.

Our homemade camp shower weighs only 8 grams, it is universal (fits any PET bottle with a standard neck), takes up minimal space, and its design is very reliable. Making such a shower is very simple, and the cost of production is a pittance.

We will need: a dropper system, a small office clip, a cap from a PET bottle.

Additionally: 1.5-2 liter mineral water bottle, 2 tent guy lines or other ropes.

Tools: drill, knife, tape measure, marker, 2 drills of 1.5 mm and 4 mm.

Cut 40 cm from the dropper tube (the length of the entire tube is 120 cm - enough for 3 showers). Using a marker, mark the locations of future holes on the bottle cap: a large one in the center and 7 small ones in a circle.

We drill the central hole with a 4 mm drill, the rest we drill with a 1.5 mm drill at a slight angle so that the water then flows slightly to the sides.

We pass the tube into the central hole. We specially took a 4 mm drill - the diameter is equal to the tube, so that the tube fits tightly into the cap. But there will be no need to additionally seal the cracks.

We put a stationery clip on the protruding end of the tube. Ready

Now about how to use it. An ordinary 1.5-2 liter mineral water bottle will be suitable as a reservoir. We take two guys from the tent, make loops out of them, thread the neck of the bottle into one loop, wrap the second loop around the bottle across and tie the end of the first loop to the second, as shown in the photo:

The suspension is ready, now fill the bottle 2/3 full cold water and carefully add 1/3 hot. We screw our shower onto the bottle. Please note that the clip valve must be closed while doing this. That's it, all that remains is to turn it over and hang our camp shower on a tree or bush.

To “turn on” the shower, we simply remove the paper clip and the water begins to flow; if during water procedures we need to stop the water, then we put the clip in place.

Perhaps the only drawback of such a shower is its small volume, one and a half liter bottle enough for 2 minutes of continuous operation. So, you’ll have to shower quite vigorously :)

Do you like to be outdoors? Can't imagine life without hiking native land? Are you building a summer house while you have nowhere to wash? Or maybe you just love extreme sports? You'll have to learn how to build a camp shower with your own hands. You can make it from almost any available containers. Washing in warm water in a warm room is not only pleasant: in cold weather, your health can depend on such a shower. Even novice nature explorers can build a camp shower.

We build a watering can

The simplest shower it works like this. A curtain is attached to the tree (if you want to wash alone). A hole is made in the cap of a large plastic bottle into which a piece of hose is inserted. The cap itself is taped to the bottle with electrical tape (if there is a hose). If it is not there, then for water to flow, just unscrew the lid. For a large container, any thin hose is suitable, for a “one and a half” - a tube from a dropper. It must be securely secured in the hole in the lid. To prevent water from flowing spontaneously, you can clamp the hose with a stopper or use a wire hook to attach the end at the top. Next - cut out the bottom of the bottle, close the lid, and attach it to a high branch. For convenience, you can place the bottle in a net or simply attach it to a branch with wire. The simplest camp shower is ready. Instead of a plastic bottle, you can use a heating pad, etc. This device is quite suitable for summer time.

But what to do if you are on a hike, around a mountain and -20°C, and you really want to wash? Actually, it is the next structure that will be what is called a “real camp shower.” Naturally, it can be done anywhere, but they say it was the climbers who came up with this method of hygiene.

We build a portable camp shower

Actually, only the curtain will be portable and we assemble all other parts right at the rest stop. We will need:

  • Devices for lighting a fire.
  • The boulders are the size of a three-year-old boy's head, but a bucket of regular pebbles or other stones can also be used.
  • Curtain.
  • Plastic bottle with stopper and hose.
  • A tent or film stretched over a frame. The frame can be carried with you, or it can be built between trees.

In order to build warm shower camping, we light a fire, put stones in it, and heat water over the fire. While everything is warming up, we assemble something like a wigwam from cellophane (if there is no empty tent). You can use branches, etc.

We make a fastening above the wigwam: we will hang it here plastic bottle(see device above) with water. When the stones warm up, carefully place them around the perimeter of the “wigwam”. This is the most dangerous part of the procedure: you can get burned. Boulders or pebbles must be cooled in the teepee so that you can stand on them. As they cool, they heat up the air very much. Then we hang the bottle with hot water and... enjoy your steam! Usually the stones allow 4-5 tourists to take a shower, and only after that the “room” begins to cool down. If you do everything quickly and take more boulders, then even a group of 15 people will have time to complete the required bath procedures.

1. Last year’s trip to Kyrgyzstan was, in fact, our first serious trip, which clearly showed the strengths and weak sides our car and the organization of expeditionary life in general.

As I mentioned, each day began with three quests: find water, find a grocery store, and throw out trash. Let's take a closer look at the first one.

2. In general, for five people we had one such 10-liter expeditionary water canister (by the way, very convenient), as well as a 20-liter reserve canister in Def, which we only used a couple of times, since it was located far away and uncomfortable. Practice has shown that 10 liters for preparing food for five people, washing hands and dishes is generally “nothing”. So we had to collect water often, and at the first opportunity Lesha klimovs_travels ran to the nearest source with a canister, elevating this process into a kind of ritual. :)

Well, it’s one thing when the procedure is one-time (you can easily wash your hands/vegetables at a picnic from five liter bottle), another thing is when you do this constantly for a couple of weeks, and sometimes ask others to help you (hold the same canister).

3. The issue of washing during the expedition was no less relevant. Three long days The journey through dusty Kazakhstan exhausted us greatly, and when we saw the waters of the Syr Darya, they seemed like salvation to us!

In those days that we spent the night on the shore of Issyk-Kul, we swam in it in the evening and in the morning. But when we were riding in the mountains, washing was more difficult.

Finally, I’ll add that I personally am the kind of person that after a hard day of travel, exhausted, I can just go to sleep in my clothes, but the next morning, in order to finally wake up, water procedures are simply vital for me. After washing away all the dirt and dust, you feel like a different person. An awakened man! :)

In general, the problem was clear and, having arrived home, I began to think about how to solve it.

4. In Def, as a rule, before installing anything useful, you need to remove something less useful to free up space. :) This time the rear door handle and rearview mirror turned out to be “less useful”. Mirror - “why does a truck need it at all?” (With) gazzzaloddi .

5. In place of the rear door handle there is a mount for a 10-liter water canister.

6. Exactly the same one that we used in Kyrgyzstan and was successfully forgotten at customs during the inspection of cars.

7. A little later, a tap with a water hose appeared at the canister, and now it became possible to wash hands/vegetables/dishes alone, without outside help. This is really a very convenient thing.

8. Towards the end of winter, before the start of the new season, I began to think about a mobile shower again. Well, the shower should be hot - I think this is obvious to everyone? :)

Two domestic boilers for 500 and 1000 watts were purchased from the Elektromontazh store closest to the house. Five hundred meters turned out to be not enough during testing, but kilowatts are just right. It melted a bottle of ice in about 25 minutes when running on an inverter.

9. Next, a 52-liter yacht water tank was purchased, which together with the canister on the door gave a total volume of 62 liters of water. As practice has shown, two people require approximately 15 liters of water per day - 10 for washing and about 5 for economic needs. Sometimes it took less, sometimes more. Thus, the autonomy is 4 days, if you don’t skimp on water at all, and about a week if you save.

10. The tank was chosen for a reason - its dimensions perfectly matched the dimensions of the side niche in my sleeping system.

11. It fit millimeter by millimeter like it was originally, there was no need to secure it at all - the front part of it rested against the bulkhead of the body and the backs of the seats.

12. In the same store as the tank (unobtrusive advertising in the frame), water pumps used on yachts and motorhomes were purchased. One of them was carefully implanted inside.

13. The small fitting is the water outlet from the pump, the large one is for filling the tank. A power wire passed through the free hole; later everything was coated with sealant.

14. Since heating 52 liters of water in the main tank is simply impractical (in terms of time and energy expended), I make a wide hole in the top of the canister...

15. ...Where did the boiler and pump of the car shower ordered in "Expedition" go? The pump turned out to be weak and died quite quickly...

16. ...After which it was replaced with the “correct” one, bought in the same store. Looking ahead, I will say that its only drawback is that it cannot work for a long time without water, therefore, you have to monitor the pressure and turn off the pump manually in time.

17. The tank is installed in its place in the car and lined with plywood.

18. Closer to the door I installed a 220 volt outlet for a kettle and water heating.

19. Along the perimeter of the door and along the corrugation with standard wiring there was 220V power for the boiler, 12V power for the shower pump and a black hose for refilling the canister from the main tank.

20. I connect the wiring, hoses and mount the main tank pump switch.

21. Installing a water thermometer. It was 4 degrees outside then, and the water heated up to a comfortable 38-40 degrees in 15 minutes.

22. Not very visible, but from hot water there is steam. By the way, there is a convenient water pressure regulator on the shower.

23. Complete system. The black hose is for filling the canister with water from the main tank, the red hose is for the shower outlet.

24. If necessary, the canister can be filled manually, in case problems arise with the pump.

25. Since laziness is the engine of progress, and you don’t always want to manually fill the main tank, a third pump with a long hose, powered by a cigarette lighter, has settled in Def. Here's what it looked like when tested.

26. And like this - in real conditions In Kazakhstan. I bought a 10-liter polyethylene bucket from Sportmaster, which when folded takes up virtually no space. We stop near a water pump, fill a bucket, and throw it into it submersible pump, wire into the cigarette lighter - and the process began, as they say! :)

27. You can also use a pump and a bucket to wash off dust and dirt from your car yourself, which is what we did in the Boguty Mountains. Def is happy too water procedures! :)
If anything, there are very few car washes in Kazakhstan, since all the locals wash their cars themselves.

28. Well, if any of the pumps fail, I always have a spare one with me - again, we duplicate important components.

29. After arrival, fittings for quickly connecting hoses were installed in the upper part of the canister.

30. A small adapter was also made that allows you to connect the shower to the tap of a relatively high-hanging canister, and wash with water that flows by gravity - again, in case the pump fails.

31. Finally, a few more words about quickly preparing the salon for bed. This is roughly what our trunk looks like during trips - an inflated sleeping mat is folded in half at the back, inside of which there are pillows, sleeping bags and blankets. Light and bulky things like backpacks with clothes are placed on top.

32. As you can see, the back seats are empty and there is plenty of space in the car.

33. We simply fold the seats; their backrest, together with the rest of the sleeping system, forms a flat bed 140 by 180 centimeters.

It's really very convenient - you just stop anywhere and the bedroom is immediately ready, no fuss with moving things around the cabin in the morning and evening!

35. Well, to sum it up. As a result, the car essentially had two tanks installed. The main one is filled with water using a pump or manually from a suitable container. Next, the water is pumped into a canister, heated there, and used for taking a shower or washing dishes.

Perhaps this whole system may seem complicated or unreliable to some. And although almost everything was ready in the spring, I decided to write about it only now - after she walked with us through the Astrakhan salt lakes and half of Kazakhstan. Both there and there it was hot and dry, so the shower helped us out a lot and added a certain comfort to our lives, which was so necessary for us every morning. Apart from one replaced low-quality pump, everything else works exactly as intended.

Well, the opportunity to quickly take a hot shower while camping anywhere is priceless, as practice has shown! :)
