The gearbox is vertical, single-stage. Three-stage vertical cylindrical gearboxes, Vku-m type

A gearbox is a mechanism that consists of worm or gear drives. This unit is enclosed in a closed housing and operates in a so-called oil bath. This mechanism is designed to reduce the rotation speed and increase the torque of the shaft, respectively. The shafts can have different locations in space. Thus, a distinction is made between vertical gearboxes and horizontal gearboxes.
Horizontal and vertical gearboxes are widely used in a variety of sectors of the national economy. This factor is due to a large number of types of gearboxes.

Vertical gearboxes can be different!

The type of gearbox depends on the composition of the gears, on the direction of the high-speed shaft to the driven shaft and on the order in which these gears are placed. Gearboxes can be classified according to the following basic characteristics:

1) by the number of steps. There are two-stage, single-stage and so on.
2) by type of transmission. There are gear-worm, gear and worm.
3) by the relative location of the shafts. There are vertical gearboxes and horizontal gearboxes.
4) by appearance gear wheels. There are conical-cylindrical, cylindrical and conical.

Vertical gearboxes have become widespread. This is due to the high reliability and performance of these units. Plus, such mechanisms differ relatively low cost. In addition, they are very convenient to use and easy to repair and operate.
Vertical gearbox– an indispensable unit in many sectors of construction and industry. It allows you to solve difficult technological problems using a minimum labor resources for this.

Worm gearbox

A worm gearbox is a device that converts motor torque and angular velocity using a worm gear. These gearboxes use a worm gear.

A worm gear consists of a worm wheel, which is a type of helical gear, and a screw, which is called a worm.

Single stage worm gearboxes are used to change shaft rotation speed and torques as mechanisms, equipment and components in machine drives. A worm gearbox is used to transmit motion between shafts whose axes intersect. According to the position of the worm wheel and the worm, there are three main schemes of worm gearboxes: with a side, top and bottom location of the worm.

Artificial blowing of ribbed housings ensures the most favorable thermal operating conditions worm gear. The output of the gear wheel shaft, which has a lateral worm, depending on the application of the drive layout, can be made down or up. With the lower position of the worm, the conditions for engagement and lubrication are better than with the upper one. But when top position the probability of metal particles (wear products) getting into the gears is minimal.

Bevel gear

Bevel gear- This is a mechanism that is connected to an electric motor and a working machine. The gearbox housing contains gears that are fixedly mounted on the shafts. A bevel gearbox is designed to increase the torque of a shaft when transmitting to another shaft, which is usually located at a right angle.

Bevel-helical gearbox

A bevel-helical gearbox is a mechanical gearbox containing one bevel and cylindrical gear. Such a gearbox is used when the axes of the take-off and power selection shafts intersect. The gearbox can be vertical or horizontal, depending on the user's needs.

Helical gearboxes

Helical gearboxes are the largest group of gearboxes, which is characterized by the gearing used in them - cylindrical gears.

Classification of helical gearboxes:

According to the number of gears (degrees) in the gearbox - four-stage, three-stage, two-stage, single-stage;

According to the distance between the axes of the output and input shafts, gearboxes with parallel shafts and coaxial ones are used. Coaxial gearboxes are gearboxes where the distance between the axes of the output and input shafts is less than the center-to-center distance of the gears, therefore such gearboxes can have more than two gears, the output and input shafts of these gearboxes are directed in opposite directions;

Installation methods - on a flange, on feet, mounted version (with a hollow output shaft).

Helical gearboxes are the leaders among the prevalence of gearboxes. They are installed in drives of extruders, mixers, grinders, shaft equipment, metal-cutting machines, etc.

Helical vertical gearbox

Mechanisms that cannot fully apply conventional horizontal diagram Gearbox locations (crane mechanisms) require vertical layouts. Vertical cylindrical gearbox is a single-stage, two-stage and three-stage gearbox, intended mainly for use in the movement mechanisms of crane trolleys and cranes. Vertical helical gearboxes Can be used in a vertical or inclined position.

Operating conditions of vertical helical gearbox:

Constant and variable load, one direction and reversible;

Continuous operation should not exceed 30 minutes, operation with short stops;

Rotation of shafts in any direction;

Rotation speed maximum 1000 rpm, angular velocity gear transmission 12 m/s.

Helical horizontal gearbox

The helical horizontal gearbox is made of aluminum alloy or cast iron. The body and its cover are made cast. They are connected by bolts and two conical pins in a horizontal plane. The horizontal gearbox can be operated under variable, constant, reversing and unidirectional loads, when working with periodic stops and continuous operation.

The horizontal cylindrical gearbox is used in drives of various machines, mechanisms for changing frequency and torque, and in transport and lifting equipment.

Spiroid reducer

The spiroid gearbox increases torque and reduces the shaft speed of the electric motor. Gearboxes are used to operate in macroclimatic areas with dry, temperate and humid tropical climates. With constant and variable load. The spiroid gearbox consists of an electric motor and a reduction gearbox, and has spiroid gears.

Planetary reductor

Planetary gearboxes have gear types transmission and direct contact of bodies of rotation. Such a gearbox operates on the principle of a planetary transmission by rotating the gearbox and, as a result of movement, energy is transferred from the engines to the working machines.

The planetary gearbox has a wide range of applications: in the light, food, textile, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, mining, metallurgical, engineering and water treatment industries. To the main advantages planetary gearboxes can be attributed to: low weight, compactness, large gear ratios.

Planetary gearboxes have a huge variety of designs. They can be single-stage, two-stage and three-stage. The shafts can be positioned horizontally or vertically. It is possible to combine planetary gears with cylindrical, bevel and worm gears relative to the kinematic diagram of the drive.
