Profile compact radiators Kermi Therm X2 Profil K (FKO). For maximum energy efficiency. And maximum comfort

Energy savings of 11% occur due to the fact that only the front part works for some time. A 2 kW heating device - two panels of one kilowatt each - the radiator produces not 2 kilowatts, but 1. The rear part warms up in 15-20 minutes. During this period of time, discomfort is felt, but the same 11 percent of energy savings are obtained.

There are defective systems in which there is no balancing, and an insufficient amount of moving fluid passes through the device. The thermograms show heating of the panels only in the upper part, which indicates a lack of coolant. If there is not enough for both panels, then the flows are distributed in such a way that there is enough for at least one. But this method does not work. By installing a radiator with local narrowings, we further increase the hydraulics of the system, which leads to a lack of coolant per panel. There is a possibility that if there is some kind of balancing margin, then the therm X2 principle will somehow be implemented and give us something. If the systems are clamped and there is not enough fluid, then there is nothing to clamp, and again we come to increasing the load. Therefore, the implementation of this technology in well-tuned, properly balanced and assembled systems, is impossible because this technique only works for the first 10-20 minutes after the thermal head opens the radiator.

If you want to buy Kermi radiators with bottom connection, you won’t be able to refuse to use X2, since it’s already built into them.

Compact profile radiators “Kermi” of the “therm-x2 Profil-K” series are innovative energy-saving heating devices side connection, suitable for all modern heating systems. They are universal in compatibility with any energy efficient heat sources, be it condensing boilers, pellets, heat pumps, solar collectors or central heating. Radiators are designed for closed systems with forced working circulation, operating pressure in which the temperature does not exceed 10 bar and the coolant temperature reaches a maximum of 110 °C.

Type 22 models of the "therm-x2 Profil-K" series have flat design, made in a special way to maximize the use of combustion heat, and are equipped with two heating panels with one row of convective fins. Available in mounting heights of 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 750 and 900 mm, in a width range from 400 to 3000 mm (except for models with a height of 200 mm - their minimum width starts from 600 mm). The installation depth of these devices is relatively small and amounts to 100 mm. Heights 500 and 900 mm exactly match the old ones DIN interaxal distances, which means such models are best suited for replacement, repair and finishing of premises.

Particular attention should be paid to the new low radiators with a height of 200 mm. This is a special development by Kermi for rooms with low window sills and panoramic windows– the devices successfully combine convenient small dimensions and high performance.

“therm-x2” radiators (except for models with a height of 200 mm) are equipped with the latest patented “x2” technology, based on sequential piping of the coolant. According to this principle, the coolant from the supply pipe first enters the front panel of the radiator, providing more high temperature its surface and thereby increasing the share of radiation heat transfer to 100%. Forced circulation Helps reduce warm-up and operating time by 25%. When the system is not fully loaded, the power of the front panel is often sufficient. At the same time, the rear panel acts as a reflective screen and is connected only when more power is required, promoting rapid heating of the room due to its convection properties. As a result, such a temperature difference between the supply and return lines leads to increased energy efficiency of the radiator and a reduction in losses during heat distribution and generation. The consistent flow of coolant through the radiator panels allows not only to significantly save energy (up to 11% compared to conventional panel radiators), but also provides high level thermal comfort even in low temperature systems.

Panel radiators are made of sheet steel. The surface is degreased, phosphated, primed with cathodic varnish using the cataphoretic immersion method (ETL) and painted by powder coating (EPS). The result is a smooth, glossy paint coating that is not only beautiful, but also environmentally friendly. The devices are supplied as standard white from the “Kermi” palette (analogue RAL 9016). By individual order You can choose the option in any color from color range"Kermi".

The scope of delivery of the “therm-x2 Profil-K type 22” radiators includes: side strips and top decorative lattice, installation kit with air bleed valve (Mayevsky tap) G ½" and installed plugs G ½". Models with a height of 300-900 mm are additionally equipped with a “x2” kit with a “therm-x2” dividing plug (which is placed independently by the user in the return line) and installation accessories. They are hung on the wall using pads on the back of the radiator (4 pieces in models with a length of 400-1800 mm, 6 pieces in models from 1800 mm long). Horizontal and vertical adjustment is possible when mounted. Models 200 mm high are supplied without mounting plates and accessories and without the “x2 Inside” insert. Low radiators can be installed on the floor or mounted on a wall. For this purpose, special brackets are provided, which must be ordered additionally.

For connection to the heating system, on the sides of each radiator there are four pipes with internal thread G ½", connection to pipes can be made from any side.

Radiators are supplied already assembled in cardboard box, packed in protective film, which does not require removal during installation.

The operation of THERM X2 heating radiators is based on lies a new principle in which the movement of the coolant flow is organized not in parallel, as it was before, but sequentially. That is, the front panel is connected in series with the panels located behind it. The coolant first flows through the front panel. For the development of heating technology, this original solution opens up great prospects: the heating process proceeds faster, comfort and energy efficiency increase.

The X2 principle is simply brilliant. It manifests itself in the fact that the radiator heats up much faster, and the heating time of the front panel is significantly reduced. To achieve maximum heat transfer it is required 25% less time.

Higher average temperature radiator surface in full load mode provides increase in thermal radiation power by approximately 10%(compared to the surface temperature of standard flat radiators).

The THERM X2 radiator has an efficiency coefficient that is unmatched by any standard flat radiator. The back panel barely heats up in normal mode. Due to lower heat transfer from the wall side, this panel acts as a thermal radiation shield. All this leads to reduction in energy costs by approximately 6%.

Therm X2 models have higher energy efficiency compared to flat-plate radiators.

Significant energy saving reserves are built into the optimal hydraulic balancing of the heating system. Kermi applies new technology automatic regulation valve radiators using kv values that are optimally configured at the factory for certain power parameters of heating devices. By changing the kv value, which is adjusted depending on the radiator power, good control ability of the thermostat valve is ensured throughout the entire setting range. The Kermi valve radiator offers optimal connection options from below.

Central connection. An absolute advantage in design and installation.

Thanks to the same connection size for all multi-panel types, the choice of radiator type can also be made after laying the pipes. The specific installation length and height can also be determined later. In addition, it is possible to carry out phased (2-step) installation, which will save time and money. Full installation pipes and system testing can be carried out without radiators. A clear separation is possible between the processes of laying pipes and the final installation of the system. Each radiator now needs to be mounted only once - at the very end of the work. This not only minimizes the risk of damage to radiators during construction work, but saves money on advances during the construction phase.

Kermi valve fittings

Kermi radiators are equipped with a valve insert already at the factory, configured for their thermal power. With the standard valve inserts it is possible to set 8 basic positions (kv) and 7 intermediate provisions adjustments. To ensure the same quality of adjustment over the entire power spectrum, fine adjustment inserts are installed on small radiators.

Factory preset

Factory preset kv values are limited to 5 out of 15 possible. Factory kv presets are designed for normal heating systems(e.g. single- or two-family houses) with a pressure drop (Δp) of 100 mbar.
