Do-it-yourself rooster from disposable dishes. DIY rooster from a plastic bottle. DIY paper rooster

This craft is made from plastic bottles. This craft is related to ecology. environment, since polluting waste products are very a large number of, one of them is plastic, we wanted to show with this craft that from the garbage that we throw away we can make wonderful crafts who will tame our garden. This craft decorates the yard of our kindergarten.

Materials and tools

How to make a Petrunya craft from plastic bottles with your own hands? Step-by-step instructions for adults and children.

To make this craft we will need the following tools:

Let's start making a rooster from a canister:

6) Move the top of the canister about 3 cm.

7) We bend the metal-plastic pipe (shape the legs), in my case, the rooster is walking, and attach it to the canister with self-tapping screws.

8) For the neck, from 5 l. bottles, fold the envelope, attach it to the canister with self-tapping screws.

9) From 1.5 liter bottles we cut out two “thighs”, which we attach to the canister with self-tapping screws.

For feathers we used 1.5 liter bottles. Cut off the long neck, cut the bottle into 5 feathers (we are guided by the protrusions on the bottom of the bottle), use the upper part of the feathers.

We begin to cover the body from the “thighs”. Disconnect them from the canister for convenience.

1) Attach the corrugated tube to the neck of the bottle.

2) attach the feathers using wire.

3) Attach the finished legs back to the canister.

4) Starting from the back, we cover the entire body, except the back, with feathers (we attach it to the canister with self-tapping screws). We leave the back of the neck open because there will be other feathers there.

Then the body is painted spray paint(in our case, red).

After painting the body, we cut out the head from foam plastic; it is better to use a stationery knife for cutting. We also paint her head. If the process of cutting out the head seems difficult to you, you can cut it out in separate parts and then glue it together with glue.

Using a furniture stapler and staples (you can use wire), we begin to attach the long wing feathers. The back remains open.

I cover the top of the wings with these feathers from 1.5 liter corrugated feathers. bottles

We paint it with paint, let it dry well and attach it to the body using self-tapping screws and washers. Bend the mesh for attaching the tail

.

Let's start making the tail.

We cut feathers from 2 liters or 2.5 liters. bottles into 5 parts. We paint separately on both sides. Paint can be used different colors.

The rooster is a symbol of 2017, made with your own hands from various materials, will be a wonderful memorable gift for a loved one.

And according to legend, he will also bring good luck to the house where he settles.

You can make a simple symbol of 2017 with your own hands from, decorating the craft in the form of a wall panel. At the beginning of work, you will need to decorate the background (sky and grass) with a layer of plasticine of the appropriate color. We immediately make clouds in the sky. Then a brown fence is laid out, and sunflowers are planted near it. We sculpt a bright village rooster on the fence, making it quite convex.

Plasticine makes a real New Year's souvenir - a picture with a cockerel.

Painting with a cockerel - the symbol of 2017

The New Year's cockerel can be made from salt dough. Watch the video for more details:

You can make a rooster from a bright cardboard sheet. To do this, we cut off one of the corners of the cardboard around the circumference and roll it into a cone. We cut out wings from the remaining paper, and a scallop, beak and paws from red cardboard.

Using the same principle, you can make little cheerful cockerels.

You can arrange them in the form of a postcard, the decoration of which will be feather wings.

The original cockerel is made from paper rings and a triangle, into which stripes can easily be turned.

And if the body is made from a paper cylinder, the cockerel will become more stable.

By rotating the cylinder vertically, you will get the basis for the original pendant.

Pendant "Cockerel"

And having glued it bottom part, you can make interesting souvenirs. Feather wings will give them a special chic.

Feathers can also be used to create a cockerel from a bright household glove. If you replace it with a knitted glove, the craft will be more durable.

The smallest creators will be able to make a cockerel using drawing and appliqué techniques.

Print and cut out the template for drawing the “cockerel”.

Template for drawing "cockerel"

We paint the cockerel in the most rainbow colors. All that remains is to decorate the rooster's tail. We cut bright strips from colored paper and ask the children to roll them into small tubes. Glue the tubes onto the tail.

Drawing and applique for the smallest “cockerels”

To make the cockerel even brighter and more beautiful, sprinkle it with glitter.

Little children will be able to make a “Rooster” applique from colored feathers. The basis is two sheets of thick paper, between which a stick is glued.

IN kindergarten can be done working together"Cockerel made from palms."

The beautiful “cockerel” applique is made from coffee beans and real feathers.

Feathers are also useful in making bell cockerels, the base of which is sculpted from clay. It’s also convenient to use cells from egg cartons as a base.

You can turn an entire carriage into a cockerel box for chicken eggs. Fill it with small candies - and you've got a gift for kids!

You can also use other waste materials in your work - for example, disposable plates. Pendants made from them are easy to manufacture.

Funny cockerels are made from colored clothespins decorated with pieces of felt.

And from a piece of knitwear or chintz fabric you can sew a real soft toy in the form of a symbol of the year.

Beautiful New Year's cockerels are made from multi-colored felt. We connect the pattern pieces together with thread or glue. We fill the inside of the craft with cotton wool.

You can make a flat cockerel on a stick from felt.

Skilled craftsmen will be able to make a cockerel from colored wool.

Watch the video master class: “New Year’s cockerel made of felt.”

The cockerel created using the technique looks very beautiful.

Not inferior to it in originality and beauty is the cockerel in the wall panel, decorated from flat multi-colored buttons. Using buttons different sizes, you will make the picture more expressive.

I would like to introduce you to the cockerel Petrunya.
Not a single yard in a village or village can do without this magnificent bird. So I made myself a friend, a bright and majestic owner of the yard!

I will be happy to share with you the stages of its production (based on the idea of making birds from plastic bottles by Alena Zinovieva).

To make the mold we need:
1) 5l. canister (I use it from under liquid soap),
2) 5l plastic bottle,
3) metal-plastic pipe (leg height approximately 30-35 cm),
4) two 1.5 l. plastic bottles for thighs,
5) screws, scissors, stationery knife, screwdriver.

For fastenings, I use these self-tapping screws (I buy them by weight at hardware stores).
Small (about 1.5-1.6 cm) - for attaching feathers and component parts to each other.
Large ones (about 5-6 cm) - for attaching the head to the neck.

1) Move the top of the canister about 3cm.
2) We bend the metal-plastic pipe (shape the legs), in my case, the rooster is walking (the right leg is pushed forward), and attach it to the canister with self-tapping screws.
3) For the neck, from 5l. bottles, fold the envelope, attach it to the canister with self-tapping screws.
4) From 1.5 liter bottles we cut out two “thighs”, which we attach to the canister with self-tapping screws.

For the feathers, I used bottles of this shape. We cut off the long neck, cut the bottle into 5 feathers (we are guided by the protrusions on the bottom of the bottle), and use the upper part of the feathers.

We begin to cover the body from the “thighs”. Disconnect them from the canister for convenience.
1) attach the corrugated tube to the neck of the bottle,
2) attach the feathers using wire.

We attach the finished legs back to the canister.

Starting from the back, we cover the entire body, except the back, with feathers (we attach it to the canister with self-tapping screws). We leave the back of the neck open because there will be other feathers there.

The next step is to start making the paws. From 2.5mm copper wire (or any other wire, preferably rigid, but not steel, which bends), we bend the shape of the legs (you can see more details in MK Filin). We create the effect of paws from a corrugated tube. We insert the remaining tail between the metal-plastic pipe and the corrugated tube. You can also fill the bottom with glue for strength.

We cut out claws from the bottom of the bottle (photo). They should be narrow and long. We fasten them with glue (I use “Moment of installation - liquid nails”).

We paint the body and legs using spray paint (I use universal enamel from KUDO).

We cut out the head from construction foam using a stationery knife, it is very sharp and the cuts are smooth and not torn. If the cutting process seems complicated to you, cut out all the parts separately! Then they can be glued together with glue.

Using sandpaper (medium), we bring it to the shape we need.

We treat the surface with acrylic putty, wait for it to dry completely and sand it again until smooth. After that, we treat it with ordinary PVA glue, so the paint adheres very well.

We begin to paint the head (you can use acrylic paints, it is more comfortable). Glue on the eyes (I bought them at a fabric store).

After fitting the head to the body, the husband said that the comb turned out not like a rooster’s, but more suitable for a chicken. I decided to redo it. I made a pattern out of paper (I tried it on for a long time to make it larger). I transferred it to foam plastic, cut it out and glued it in place of the previous one.

Using wire, we begin to attach the long wing feathers. The back remains open.

I cover the top of the wings with these feathers from 1.5 liter corrugated feathers. bottles The last row goes to the bend, into the inside of the wing.

We paint it with paint, let it dry well and attach it to the body using perforated tape (sold at any hardware store) and self-tapping screws. We bend the mesh for attaching the tail (you can increase its length and the tail will turn out richer).

Let's start making the tail.
We cut feathers from 2l or 2.5l. bottles into 5 parts. We paint separately on both sides (first we applied black, after drying a little blue)

We attach it to the mesh using wire. After coloring, I cut the feathers in half again, so the tail turned out to be more magnificent.

For the feathers on the back, I cut feathers of different lengths from transparent bottles (this makes it easier to color yellow), approximately 2-2.5 cm wide. I attached it to the back using self-tapping screws, 3-4 pieces at a time.

I made him out of what was...

Good afternoon friends! As promised, I’m sharing my work on different types handicrafts. Manufacturing various crafts making from bottles has already become a folk art. I don’t really like cluttering up my space, but I still made a few crafts for fun, some look quite good and even funny. So the rooster appeared.

I made a new flowerbed and decided to add some homemade decorations to it. Moreover, the post in the middle for gartering loaches looks dull; a twist was needed. So the idea came up to impale a rooster. But how? Of what? What to fasten with?

So, let's get down to business. I didn’t take any photos from the beginning of the process, because I didn’t yet know what would come out of this idea, I made it up as I went along. Nevertheless, something happened. This is how the blank was formed.

It is not clear who it is: a rooster or a hen? In my opinion, it looks more like a chicken, no?

Well, how it turned out. Oh, and as it turned out, it’s not easy to glue plastic, I freaked out). It’s easy to work with, but attaching parts is not so easy. The plastic did not lend itself to any adhesives. I tried Moment, superglue, and various tapes. I made a masterpiece out of what I had.

I needed: one large bottle 5 liters, 2 types of wire, paper tape, electrical tape, self-tapping screws, bottle cap, furniture stapler, Moment furniture glue, superglue, a piece of linoleum, handy scissors, pliers, 6-8 dark bottles, 2 green bottles, paints , bronze varnish, different colors, as well as patience and resourcefulness.

Along the description, all the details of what to use in your work,

and what did not live up to my expectations.

The large bottle remained solid at first, but then I cut off the back part, otherwise the butt of the rooster would hang down. I cut off the bottom and folded the edges inward. I made the paws from wire, it is better to make it from thick wire and thread the wire through for strength.

Making transparent tubes with wire. You could make the legs from a corrugated hose, that’s also an option.

Now the head. I made the beak from a bottle cap, fastened it with a self-tapping screw and glue. On the reverse side you need a support for the screw. I used a wine cork. I fastened the beak with a furniture stapler, somehow! Glue did not accept such a design. Attach the head and beard of the rooster with self-tapping screws as well.

The tail is the main advantage of the rooster. This is why fan-shaped binding is important. If you just attach the strips to the body, it will be unreliable! Therefore, you first need to make a tail, and then attach it entirely to the body!

What to attach the tail feathers to? I took a piece of old linoleum and stapled the feathers onto it with a stapler. I bent all the staples on the back side. The attachment to the body must be strong. Therefore, I spanned the linoleum with a tail onto the screws and secured it with electrical tape. I also used glue, but it was of little use.

It turned out to be such rubbish inside. You need to attach the screws to something, for example, foam or wood. I didn’t think about this at first, or rather I didn’t find the material at hand. I left it like that and it holds up fine.

Feathers can be cut out individual parts, and I just cut the ribbons in a zigzag. Attaching each part is very tedious. All ribbons with feathers were coated with Moment furniture glue and secured with tape. I let it dry and glued it with instant glue.

Now painting. I made the tuft from the bottom of a bottle and pre-painted it. The product came out with roughness. Therefore, I decided to paint the rooster completely and thus hide the defects.

The paint is bronze varnish and dries quickly. I applied different colors with strokes, used varnish and tints.

It was necessary to highlight the rooster's breast with other colors, by the way. I left it like that. I also decided to color the tail feathers. After painting, all the insides of the rooster with screws and other details are no longer visible. I let the product dry. She secured the tuft to the head with self-tapping screws, cut out the eyes, and glued on flirty eyelashes. In my opinion, the cockerel comes to life).

And this is what happened.

If you want to decorate your yard, garden or country cottage area, but don’t want to spend money on expensive Consumables or buy ready-made factory products, then try making figurines from various available materials with your own hands.

Plastic bottles, corks, old car tires- all these are excellent raw materials for making beautiful things. A real decoration of your dacha will be a motley and bright rooster - the owner of the yard, who can simply “guard” the yard and serve as a weather vane.

There are many master classes showing in detail or giving instructions on how to make one interesting decor And what you need to do. Inspired by the ideas of the masters, you can easily make very beautiful products from unnecessary things and waste materials.

Making a cockerel from plastic bottles

Plastic bottles and caps are practically the most affordable and cheap material for making crafts. In addition, its flexibility is a big plus - plastic is easy to cut with a regular knife or scissors, and if you need to round the edges or smooth the surface, this can be done using a regular iron.

The bottles themselves come in different colors, but wider color scheme very easy to obtain using cans of different paints to suit your taste.

You can start by making simple shapes.

  1. Take a large bottle (usually five liters) as a basis. You can paint it either with paints or with TEX enamel. Cut off the bottom and bend the edges inward.
  2. The head can be made from papier-mâché or you can also use a bottle (you will need its lower part). In the second option, you will also need to make a beak for the rooster - this could be a bottle cap on which you attach the blank.
  3. The legs are made either from a corrugated hose, or from old tubes, or from wire wound onto transparent tubes.
  4. For the feathers and tail, you need to cut a lot of strips (you can cut each part into zigzag strips or separately). It is recommended to fasten it with glue and tape, self-tapping screws (there should be a lining made of foam plastic or wood inside the figure).
  5. Cut a comb from the bottom of the bottle and attach it to the head of the cockerel. Wings can be made from halves of two bottles.
  6. Color the item using different colors and shades to make the bird colorful and bright. You can use quick-drying bronze varnish and colors to make it even more impressive.
  7. Cut out the eyes from the same plastic and color or draw them. You can decorate them with eyelashes.

Such a rooster made from plastic bottles will look great on a fence, pole or fence of your dacha and even serve as an original weather vane.

You can simply build a frame for the future bird from bottles and cardboard, and then model a papier-mâché rooster figurine on it. Do not forget to dry each layer thoroughly, and then paint the product and cover it with yacht varnish.

Here is a more complex master class for making a cockerel, but as a result of all your efforts you will get a real sculptural masterpiece.

  1. First you need to prepare a form - the basis for the future figure. The master proposes to build it from five-liter plastic canisters and bottles. This will be the neck and torso. For the bird’s legs you need to take metal-plastic pipes, about thirty centimeters high, plus two one and a half liter bottles for the thighs.
  2. To attach the parts to each other, you will need large and small self-tapping screws.
  3. Connect the base elements together: give metal-plastic pipes shape and position of the legs, move the top of the canister a few centimeters and roll an envelope from the bottle to form a neck. Also cut out the thighs and attach them to the canister.
  4. From one big bottle you can cut out five feathers. Just first you need to cut off its long neck. You will need top part feathers
  5. Cover the figure with feathers starting from the cockerel's thighs (you can detach them to make it more convenient. And when you're done, attach the legs back). Then work from the back and attach the feathers with self-tapping screws everywhere except the back and back of the neck (you'll need different feathers there).
  6. Weave the legs from rigid copper wire and supplement them with corrugated tubes (there should be a hole in the middle through which you need to insert a piece of wire to attach to the legs).
  7. Cut the claws from the bottom of the bottle and attach them with glue or liquid nails.
  8. Paint the finished part of the bird (KUDO paint or enamel).
  9. Now it's time to work on the cockerel's head. To make it, it is recommended to use construction foam (the parts can be cut out separately and then glued together. Use a stationery knife for cutting). To give your head the desired shape, you will need a medium sandpaper. Then the part will need to be treated with acrylic putty, and when it dries, sand it thoroughly. When you achieve the required smoothness, go over it with glue (ordinary PVA will do). Only after complete drying can you begin painting.
  10. You can also paint your head with acrylic - it’s much easier and more convenient. Pick up cockerel eyes at a fabric store and glue them into the holes.
  11. The shape for the wings is cut from the mesh using side cutters. Attach long feathers to it, leaving the back open. On top you can also add plumage cut from corrugated bottles. Paint the new elements and let them dry. Then attach it to the body using self-tapping screws and perforated tape.
  12. For the tail you will need to cut a lot of feathers and paint them. Attach it to the protruding part of the mesh from the wings (if you bend it, the tail will be more magnificent and luxurious).
  13. Now close the backrest. To do this, cut out many feathers of different lengths and attach them several in rows. It is better to attach the last row with glue so that the heads of the screws are not visible. For the back of the head and sides of the head, use finer feathers.
  14. Paint the new plumage after closing construction tape and bags those parts of the cockerel that were already painted earlier.
  15. Insert spurs into the bird's legs and cover it with glossy varnish.
