Then the body is painted spray paint(in our case, red).
After painting the body, we cut out the head from foam plastic; it is better to use a stationery knife for cutting. We also paint her head. If the process of cutting out the head seems difficult to you, you can cut it out in separate parts and then glue it together with glue.
Using a furniture stapler and staples (you can use wire), we begin to attach the long wing feathers. The back remains open.

A small cockerel made from one plastic bottle
To make such a cheerful rooster you will need one large bottle and very few bottles of different colors. Or you can take the same ones and paint them with acrylic paints.
Take a 2-2.5 liter bottle and wash it thoroughly so that there are no traces of the label or any dirt left. Place the bottle on a stick to make it easier for you to work with. Use a marker to mark the holes for the wings, beak and comb on the bottle. The material for the beak will be a shampoo bottle, cut it out and attach it to the base. Paint eyes on the lids, glue them to the base or attach fittings. From the remaining bottles we cut out feathers for the tail, wings and comb. Attach all the parts with glue; the tail can be secured with a stapler or self-tapping screw. As a decoration, you can make fringe on the wings and feathers in the tail. And to prevent it from deteriorating from precipitation and dirt, you can coat it with yacht varnish. It will become much stronger and more interesting.

Rooster made from plastic bottles
To make such a cockerel you will need more old bottles. Its design is attached to self-tapping screws, so you will need a strong base in the form plastic canister. A five-liter canister will be the body, holes for the legs will be cut in it. Make a slot on the side opposite the holes. Bend a metal-plastic tube and insert it into the holes for the legs, securing it with self-tapping screws for stability. From a couple of plastic bottles, cut out pointed toes, three for each. Put the corrugation on your legs and secure the paws.
Another couple of one and a half liter bottles serve as material for the rooster's thighs; you need to cut off the necks and thread the corrugations into them.
The head is cut out of foam plastic, rubbed with sandpaper and coated with acrylic primer. Then it is sanded again and painted with paints. A six-liter bottle will be useful for the neck. We cut off a rectangle and wrap it with a collar, which will be connected to the body with the help of self-tapping screws.
Feathers also need to be made from bottles; you will need a lot of them. For tail feathers you will need the largest bottles, at least 2.5 liters. In such work, the main thing is that the scissors are not dull, otherwise you will have to cut the plastic for a long time and painfully. There are more easy way plumage cutting. For it you only need to make longitudinal cuts, remove the bottom and neck first. Cut out semicircular or triangular shapes from below to create a finished row of feathers. You will need to attach the feathers both with glue and with self-tapping screws; we will go from the bottom so that the joints of the fasteners are not visible. The most difficult thing in this craft is to collect all the material for it; you will need a lot of bottle caps and preferably multi-colored ones. But the result will be very colorful!

For fastenings, I use these self-tapping screws (I buy them by weight at hardware stores).
Small (about 1.5-1.6 cm) - for attaching feathers and component parts to each other.
Large ones (about 5-6 cm) - for attaching the head to the neck.

The next step is to start making the paws. From 2.5mm copper wire (or any other wire, preferably rigid, but not steel, which bends), we bend the shape of the legs (you can see more details in MK Filin). We create the effect of paws from a corrugated tube. We insert the remaining tail between metal-plastic pipe and corrugated tube. You can also fill the bottom with glue for strength.
We cut out claws from the bottom of the bottle (photo). They should be narrow and long. We fasten them with glue (I use “Moment of installation - liquid nails”).
We paint the body and legs using spray paint (I use universal enamel from KUDO).
We cut out the head from construction foam using a stationery knife, it is very sharp and the cuts are smooth and not torn. If the cutting process seems complicated to you, cut out all the parts separately! Then they can be glued together with glue.
Using sandpaper (medium), we bring it to the shape we need.
We treat the surface with acrylic putty, wait for it to dry completely and sand it again until smooth. After that, we treat it with ordinary PVA glue, so the paint adheres very well.
We begin to paint the head (you can use acrylic paints, it’s more convenient). Glue on the eyes (I bought them at a fabric store).
After fitting the head to the body, the husband said that the comb turned out not like a rooster’s, but more suitable for a chicken. I decided to redo it. I made a pattern out of paper (I tried it on for a long time to make it larger). I transferred it to foam plastic, cut it out and glued it in place of the previous one.
Using wire, we begin to attach the long wing feathers. The back remains open.
I cover the top of the wings with these feathers from 1.5 liter corrugated feathers. bottles The last row goes to the bend, into the inside of the wing.
We paint it with paint, let it dry well and attach it to the body using perforated tape (sold at any hardware store) and self-tapping screws. We bend the mesh for attaching the tail (you can increase its length and the tail will turn out richer).
Let's start making the tail.
We cut feathers from 2l or 2.5l. bottles into 5 parts. We paint separately on both sides (first we applied black, after drying a little blue)
We attach it to the mesh using wire. After coloring, I cut the feathers in half again, so the tail turned out more magnificent.
For the feathers on the back, I cut feathers of different lengths from transparent bottles (this makes it easier to color yellow), approximately 2-2.5 cm wide. I attached it to the back using self-tapping screws, 3-4 pieces at a time.

The process of making a proud cockerel can be traced using the example of a master class. The step-by-step creation of a cockerel is described in detail and shown in the photo.
In order to make a cockerel, take a canister (volume 5 liters), a plastic bottle (volume five liters), a couple of plastic bottles for the legs (volume one and a half liters), a metal-plastic pipe, scissors, a screwdriver, a stationery knife, self-tapping screws.

In order to fasten the product, you need to use self-tapping screws. They can be purchased at specialized construction stores. The length of the small screws is about one and a half cm, and the large ones are five to six cm. We will use the small ones to fasten the feathers, and the large ones to attach the head.
The first step we will make is the frame of the cockerel. To do this, we move the upper part of the canister by three cm. Then we shape the legs of the metal-plastic pipe. In our case, the cockerel will walk, so one leg moves forward. You need to secure it with self-tapping screws to the canister. In order to make the cockerel's neck, we fold the envelope and attach the screws. Then we cut out the hams from small bottles and attach them to the canister with self-tapping screws. This is how the body turns out:
In order to make the feathers of the cockerel, we will use beer bottles (the shape is shown in the photo). It is necessary to cut off the long neck and cut the bottle into five parts. It is best to navigate along the bottom. We will only use the top part.
Now we move on to the process of pasting the body. You need to start working from the feet. To make it more convenient, you can detach them from the body. Attach crepe paper to the neck of the bottle, and then use wire to attach the feathers.
After we have made the cockerel's legs, we attach them to the body again.
Well, now we’ll just cover the body with feathers, starting from the back. It is necessary to cover all parts except the back with feathers. It is also necessary to leave the back of the cockerel's neck open. As mentioned above, the feathers must be attached to small self-tapping screws.
Then we need to make the paws. Take copper wire (two and a half mm thick). You can take any other wire that bends, but not steel. We bend the shape of the legs from this wire. Then we take corrugated paper and create a leather effect. The tail that remains must be inserted between corrugated paper and a metal-plastic pipe. To prevent anything from slipping out, seal the bottom with glue for strength.
Then take the bottom of the bottle and cut claws out of it. The claws should be as narrow and long as possible, as shown in the photo. Using instant glue we attach them to the legs.
Use regular spray paint to paint the body and legs of the cockerel.
Cut out the head of a cockerel from construction foam. We use a utility knife to ensure that the cuts are as sharp as possible.
If things aren't going smoothly for you, then you can cut out all the pieces separately and then glue them together with glue.

We cover the surface of the head with acrylic putty or any other. Then we need to wait until it dries completely and only then process the head again until it is perfectly smooth. The next step is to treat the surface using regular PVA glue. This is necessary so that the paint adheres well in the future.
Use acrylic paints (or any other) to decorate the cockerel's head. Then we glue the eyes. You can make them yourself, or you can buy them in a specialized store. The next step is to prepare the shape of the wings and then cut them out using side cutters.
We fasten the long feathers of the wing using ordinary wire, the back should still remain open.
You can close the top using corrugated bottles. The last row should go inside the wing, on the bend.
We cover the surface with paint and wait until the product dries. Then we attach the wings to the body and prepare the mesh for the tail. The longer the mesh, the more magnificent the ponytail.
The tail feathers must be cut from 2.5 or two liter bottles. Now we need to paint each feather in two parts.
Attach the feathers to the tail. They can be cut in half.
From transparent bottles we cut feathers of different lengths for the back. Their width is about two and a half cm. We attach them to the body with self-tapping screws, several at a time. Don't forget to paint it yellow.
Here's what happens:
The last row of feathers must be glued so that the screws are not visible.
Apply yellow paint to this part of the work and let it dry.
Add a couple of bright stripes.

We cut out nails, narrow and long, from the bottom of the bottle and glue them to the paws with glue.
We paint the body and legs of the rooster with spray paint.

Use sandpaper to smooth out the head.
Coat the entire head with acrylic putty. When it is completely dry, treat it again sandpaper. Then we coat it with glue so that the paint adheres better.
Once completely dry, we begin painting; acrylic paints are best suited. We also glue on purchased eyes or make our own.

Now let's make the tail. We make feathers in the same way as wings, but only from 2, 2.5 liter bottles.
We attach it to the reinforcing mesh with wire.
The feathers on the back can be made of different lengths, preferably from light plastic (easier to paint). The width of the feathers is no more than 3 centimeters. We attach the cockerel to the back with self-tapping screws, several feathers, 3-4 pieces each.
When attaching feathers to the neck, the excess in the upper part must be cut off. We place the topmost row of feathers on glue to close the screws. We attach the head to the body with long self-tapping screws. We glue small feathers on the sides of the crest and on the back of the head.
Cover previously painted feathers with polyethylene and masking tape. Apply yellow paint and wait until it dries completely.
And of course, the rooster must have spurs. We cut out two strips of plastic using a stationery knife. Then carefully insert it between the corrugated and metal-plastic tube.
That's all, our rooster made from plastic bottles is ready. You can coat the rooster with varnish and place it in the yard to the delight of you and those around you.
