German family company Valenzi has been producing canned wild berries, mushrooms and semi-finished soup products for over 50 years. For 31 years, the company's plant was serviced by LOOS steam boilers (owned by Bosch since 2009). In 2012, a comprehensive energy audit was carried out at the plant, as a result of which the management decided to modernize the boiler room using two modern Bosch Universal UL-S boilers with a capacity of 5 tons of steam per hour each. This allowed the company to use energy resources more efficiently, and also made it possible to save up to 40 thousand euros per year. Thanks to the compact drainage, expansion, cooling and heat exchange module EHB, the heat from the hot demineralized water is used to preheat the feedwater. The U-MB steam boiler is built as a three-pass fire-tube-smoke boiler. It consists of many modules, a heat generator part of a three-pass design, a steam chamber located above it and a built-in economizer.
