I mixed potassium hydroxide flakes in water, then used a filter to feed the solution into the generator housing (after cleaning thoroughly).

Step 9: Finishing Touches
I tested the device using a 12V car battery and jumper cables. The resulting gas is collected in a small water bottle and ignited with a flame.
At a voltage of 12 volts we get 1.5 liters of gas per minute. If you connect 2 batteries in series, then at a voltage of 24 volts we have an output of 5 liters of gas per minute. This is enough to fill a 4 gallon (15 liter) container in 38 seconds!
