Taking measurements from the sofa

Its width is equal to the distance from one edge of the seat to the other (v-w). And it has no duplicate parts. But sometimes such a strip can extend onto the side parts (w-x). In some models it can continue on the back side. At the same time, it can be laid in simple or bow folds.
Add 10cm for the back clasp and 15cm for the side clasp. The zipper should be strong enough and match the density of the material you choose. When creating a pattern, it is necessary to take into account the reserve that will be needed to fit the fabric into place. Making patterns for covers
