You cannot immediately secure the engine tightly. During further assembly, you may need to adjust the height and location of the mechanism elements. The next step in creating a herb grinder is to attach the blades. They also need to be baited (loosely fixed) first.

- knives do not touch the walls of the body;
- the blades are fitted tightly, do not warp or dangle on the axis;

For the shredder to be fully functional, the structure must be reliably and safely connected to the network. It is necessary to make the correct connection of the wire with the motor, trigger and plug:
- check the functionality of the motor circuit;
- identify the starting winding using a tester (its resistance will be greater than that of the working winding);
- connect the end of the starting winding to the toggle switch contact;
- connect the other end to the wire and the working winding, which at the other end is connected to the cable and the toggle switch contact.

The basis of the design of such a chopper is a rod, the length of which is from 30 to 40 cm, and the diameter – from 10 to 12 mm, at the end of the rod there should be a thread of about 40 mm for attaching the blade (knife) between several nuts. A knife can be made from an old one hacksaw blade, sharpening can be either single-sided or double-sided, or you can purchase a knife for a motor scythe.

From a vacuum cleaner

A threaded sleeve for attaching knives with nuts must be cut on a machine; its length is 40 mm.
It is necessary in advance to cut a hole in the tub, which we made from the body of the vacuum cleaner, for the cube-shaped platform on which it will stand. The motor is attached to the tub from below, and then the blades are secured using 32mm nuts. The hole for the grinding outlet should be 7cm by 7cm in size and located under the knives or at the bottom side.
Important! For greater stability, the tub must be welded to the frame.
From the washing machine
The shredder made from a washing machine is completely identical to the one made from a vacuum cleaner. –
the only difference is its size. Here, a trimmed (as convenient for you) washing machine body is used as a container, and the sleeve must be at least 5 cm long. 
Important! To avoid overloading the engine, do not add too much grass.
For the container into which the grass will be loaded, in principle, any metal cylindrical vessel of large volume can be suitable, even a large saucepan can do.
