This dish is very easy to prepare and takes no more than 20 minutes to prepare. To make the fillet soft and juicy, the pieces need to be fried over medium heat and then brought to full readiness in sour cream sauce. - chicken breast (fillet) – 300 g;
- sour cream 10% fat – 200 ml;
- onion– 1 middle head;
- wheat flour – 2 teaspoons;
- water – 0.5 cups;
- salt - to taste;
- freshly ground black pepper – 2-3 pinches (optional);

Getting ready chicken fillet very quickly, so before starting cooking we take out everything you need - let the necessary ingredients be in sight. Cut the onion into small cubes and pour into a frying pan with well-heated oil. We adjust the heat to lower than medium and leave the onion to soften or lightly brown until a barely noticeable golden hue.





While the onion cubes are frying, cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. Once the onion is fried to the desired degree, place the fillet in the pan and increase the heat. Evaporate the meat juice, cook the meat until the color changes and reduce the heat. Fry for five minutes, stirring.





At the same time make sour cream sauce. Mix sour cream (use not very thick) and wheat flour. Add a little ground pepper and grind everything thoroughly so that there are not even small lumps.





The preparation for sour cream sauce will be homogeneous and thick. At this stage, you can add any spices to your taste: a little curry, turmeric, herbes de Provence, paprika or red bell pepper.







Mix the sour cream sauce cold water or broth (chicken, vegetable). Stir.





The chicken fillet will be almost ready in a few minutes. The meat will lighten in color, but you can lightly fry the pieces until they turn pinkish. When frying, add a little ground pepper if desired and add salt to the meat to taste.





Pour in the sour cream sauce and stir quickly with a spatula. Reduce the heat to minimum.





Without covering with a lid, simmer the chicken fillet for about five minutes, until fully cooked. I wash and peel the potatoes, onions and sweet bell peppers, cut them into not very large pieces so that they have time to cook. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with vegetable oil. I place the vegetables in an even layer in a frying pan, on a narrow baking sheet or in a small form (the size of the breast, so that the vegetables simmer in its juice).

    I place the marinated meat on top of the vegetable bed. Cover with foil. I send the form to the oven, preheated to 180-190 degrees. I bake for 40 minutes.

    After the specified time, I remove the foil and return it back for another 5-7 minutes, increasing the temperature to 220 degrees so that the chicken breast browns in the oven. If desired, you can sprinkle with grated cheese.
