Houses in hunting style. Hunting lodge, equipment for hunting, fishing Projects of wooden hunting lodges

Houses made of rounded logs | №4 (80) "2018

Notable for its solemn appearance, the log cottage with terraces and balconies, the fences for which were forged by hand, was built on a hilly plot. The high stone plinth and massive facade give the house majesty; the features of a rustic style are clearly visible in it. Natural local materials, the surrounding steppe, chalk mountains - all this emphasized the expressiveness of the project.

The object called "Hunting House" is located in Voronezh region, on the banks of the Don River. The owner of the house is a hunter who travels a lot around Russia, so the image of the building - solid, sedate - fully reflects the character of the customer and his lifestyle. The hunting house is perfect for a country holiday, especially since its area allows you to receive quite a lot of guests. Yes, all ground floor dedicated to a relaxation area. There is a hammam, sauna and swimming pool, and there is a spacious relaxation room with a small kitchen and bar. The first floor is occupied by a single space of a living-dining room and kitchen, a recreation room with a cinema and a master bedroom. On the second floor there are four bedrooms with bathrooms.

From the vestibule there is a view of spiral staircase, made in black. Her metal structure looks contrasting against the background log walls, which gives the house a certain originality, a masculine character.

In the kitchen, a U-shaped portal is made in the cooking area. Like the fireplace, it is lined with stone, which brings a touch of primitiveness to the interior. Heavy ceiling beams serve not only structural elements, but also give the premises an even more brutal look. To soften this “severity” with a large number of trophies, stained glass windows were used to decorate the ceiling, the “apron” in the kitchen area was tiled with imitation hand painting, which adds color to the atmosphere, and on small wall shelves placed ceramic dishes.

Of course, the main feature in the house was the fireplace area. Big corner fireplace with firewood laid out from ceramic bricks and lined natural stone- the deliberately rough façade emphasizes the brutal character of the interior. The dining room is presented in the same masculine style: heavy, massive wooden table and the leather-covered chairs seem designed for gambling company. The tabletop and chair frame have a brushed texture, giving the wood a decorative effect.

The master bedroom is located on the first floor and is notable for the fact that, like the living room, it has a stone-clad fireplace, but with a glass firebox. The bedroom is adjacent to a separate lounge and bathroom. Thus, a personal area of the owner was created, remote from other premises, with a separate exit to the terrace running along the main facade.

The bedrooms located on the second floor create a warm, homely atmosphere. Each one has classic wooden furniture. Complex design mansard roof, exposed beams bring a special style charm to the rooms. There was no need to use complex design techniques; it was only necessary to optimally arrange the furniture in the space. All bedrooms have spacious balconies with views of the steppe and river.

The cottage ventilation and heating system is hidden in interfloor ceilings. But not without visible ventilation pipes. To hide them, the author of the project had to try a lot. To do this, they used a so-called wooden mesh with deliberately large square segments so that the elements of the decorative boxes were comparable to the massive walls made of logs.

The color of the exterior of the house is given by a long terrace with a wrought iron fence, installed on stone supports, and a staircase: Bottom part its steps are lined with stone, the upper one is made of logs. The hunting style of the exterior and interior is a very specific direction in design. It is chosen by people who give preference to natural textures, natural materials and the general atmosphere created by such a style. All elements of the cottage look brutal, partly rough, which is what distinguishes it from other buildings.

How to build a hut in the forest with your own hands? For experienced commercial hunters this is not difficult. People who are passionate about their work or favorite pastime build cozy and warm houses in the deep forest with everything they need to spend the night along the route or even stay for some time if an unforeseen situation occurs.

Peculiarities

Any commercial hunter who has a plot of forest at his disposal sets up a network of winter huts. Typically, the network consists of a main hut, where you can live permanently, and small winter huts, in which you can spend the night along the route. Therefore, the distance between winter huts should be equal to one day's march.

The main purpose of a hunter's hut is a roof over your head and strong walls that can protect you from severe frost, angry blizzards, torrential winds (a common option for insulating walls with moss is shown in the figure below) and the dangers of the night taiga (including bears, so you need to think about additional protection of the house). There is always some food in the winter hut long-term storage and a supply of firewood for a week. The doors in such houses are not closed so that every hunter, forester, mushroom picker or tourist who gets lost in the taiga can survive in harsh conditions.

By the way, not only hunters live in small huts, but also hermits or indigenous peoples of the north, who know how to build a hut in the forest very quickly. More often, of course, it is commercial hunters who are engaged in the construction of winter huts.

Preparing the site for construction

How to build a winter hut in the forest with your own hands? First of all, you need to pay attention to the search suitable place for the construction of a house. The main enemies of the hunting base are people and bears. It is desirable that the house be generally accessible only to the person who built it, or at most to his immediate circle (friends, relatives).

Must be built in secluded place. The hut should not be located on the river bank, on a path or road, the house should not be visible from vehicles passing nearby. So, a remote area is required. Separately, you need to take into account the visibility of the space depending on the presence or absence of foliage on the trees. The listed rules are difficult to comply with in relatively populated areas. In general, a fishing hut hidden from prying eyes can only be in a deserted and wild taiga; it is very difficult to hide in other forests.

The house should not be visible from the air. It is advisable that a helicopter cannot land nearby. To do this, the logs for construction are taken not entirely near the hut, but some nearby, and the rest in other places. The most reliable way to hide a house better is to move 20-25 kilometers away from the nearest road. This is approximately a day's trek.

The approach to the winter hut from a relatively frequented place should not stand out in any way. There should be no path or road. The path to the hunting lodge can run, for example, along stones in the bed of a dry stream or through a spruce forest, where a springy bedding of pine needles lies under your feet. Some especially careful hunters even go to their winter quarters on a different route each time.

It is advisable to choose a place on a small edge, protected from strong wind, in the pit. This will protect the lower crowns from heavy torrential rains and spring floods. Under no circumstances should you build a hut in a ravine. It is permissible to build a house only on a small hill or flat area. There must be a clean source nearby drinking water(stream or river).

Selection and preparation of materials

How to build a hunting house in the forest? The construction site must be cleared if necessary. The forest will be used for crowns, but the stumps are usually burned. It is better to make the first crown of a small hut from larch, because this tree rots more slowly than the others. If there is no larch nearby, then from what is there. You can put stones under the crown or place logs directly on the ground.

The main material for building a house is trees coniferous species. Pine and larch are excellent, but you can also use spruce or fir, cedar. Cedar can be cut down without pity, because thinning sanitary fellings clear space for stronger and big trees. Thick trees are not suitable, the optimal diameter is 15-25 cm. It is better to make the first few crowns from thicker logs, and then use less thick ones.

How to build a hut in the forest with your own hands, that is, without anyone’s help? It's more difficult, but quite possible. You can drag logs to the construction site alone. Experienced taiga explorers say that a damp pine tree (25 cm in diameter) will weigh about 40 kg per meter. For one person, a length of 3-4 meters is enough. A four-meter log will weigh about 120 kg.

There is no need to lift the whole log; it is easier to drag it. It's hard, but quite doable for one person. If it’s really difficult, then you can cut down thinner trees, but then more materials will be required in quantitative terms. The picture below shows how to fell a tree.

How many materials will be needed for construction? Optimal height walls - 180 cm. This way, a person of average height will not have to bend down. This turns out to be 9 logs per wall (180: 20 = 9). There are four walls - 36 logs. Additionally, wood is needed for the floor and roof. The forest can be cut down with a reserve.

Different methods of laying crowns

How to build a hut? From the prepared materials, that is, logs, you first need to remove the bark. For debarking, a sharpened shovel, taiga ax or scraper is used. At the beginning of May, the bark is already peeling off well, but it is still better to use trees harvested in winter. Dried logs are harder to process, but they are much lighter.

The crowns can be placed “in the paw” or “in the bowl”. A simpler option is “half a tree”. The “bowl” method makes it possible to achieve a better fit of logs to each other, that is, the likelihood of cracks occurring is significantly reduced. Raw moss is placed between the logs. It is better to use raw wood, because it does not crumble, dries along with the logs and is a natural preservative that will slow down the rotting of the wood. You need to use more moss so that no gaps remain.

Additionally, you need to strengthen the corners and window shutters. The deep taiga forests are inhabited by bears, who often destroy the house from the corner. Planks with bristling points are often placed against the wall, window sills, along corners, behind the threshold and on the threshold. Hunters call them “hedgehogs.”

How to make floor and roof boards

How to build a hunting hut in the forest? Walls are just the beginning. Next you need to lay the floor, make windows and doors, and build a roof. The floor requires boards that are made on site. You need to select straight-layered trees. The log must be carefully spread onto the boards. Using an ax, small cuts are first made at the base of the trunk, then wedges are driven in there so that they touch the entire diameter of the log. Such boards are much stronger than those cut with a saw, because the fibers are preserved.

Insulation of floors and laying of boards

How to build a hut in the forest with your own hands? After the walls were built, all that was left was the floor and roof. Floorboards are not laid on damp ground. The bottom layer is covered with loose earth or sand mixed with moss and stones different sizes, polyethylene or any available insulation. Moss is placed again directly under the boards so that there are no gaps.

How to build and insulate a roof

How to build a hut in the forest with your own hands? The most difficult thing for inexperienced hunters who started building a winter hut is the roof. Roofs can be single-pitch or gable, with or without an attic. It is better to build with an attic, because in the summer you can dry herbs there, and in the winter it is warmer. At any time of the year the attic can be used as a storage room.

The attic roof can be laid not with boards, but with small logs or halves. Moss should be laid between them, earth should be poured on top and covered with polyethylene. For the intermediate roof (this is the floor of the attic), the film is not necessary, but then you need to use more moss to provide good protection from rain. The cold is no longer so terrible, because due to the attic there are actually two roofs.

How to quickly build a hut in the forest? If you need to build a house quickly, you can build a regular roof without an attic, but it will be colder in such a room. It is better to lay the top of the logs with moss and cover them with earth in order to somehow retain more heat inside.

If desired and if necessary, you can camouflage the roof with a special camouflage net. You can do this yourself. You need any mesh for weaving the base (rope or fishing, but not fishing line, because such a structure will not last long), pieces of moss, leaves, rags, dense ribbons of dark green, gray, brown or white. Camouflage elements are woven into the structure of the network. It is advisable to tie each one not in the center, but with a tendency towards asymmetry.

The stove is the main element of any winter hut

How to build a hunting house with your own hands? There is a roof, floor and walls. Why not a house? But still, the main element of any hunting lodge is the stove. Otherwise, the hut will only protect from the wind, and it will be impossible to spend the night in it. Hunters most often use iron stoves, which provide heat quickly but cool down just as quickly. You will have to add firewood every hour to keep the whole house warm.

Brick ovens take longer to heat up, but retain heat better. For a settled life you will need a good brick stove, but you can line the iron one with bricks and stones. This way you can keep the heat much longer. You don’t need a lot of bricks; it’s enough to build a small stove with hob to make it convenient to prepare food.

How to quickly build a hut? How long does this process take? Construction lasts from several weeks to months. Much depends on the hunter's carpentry skills, because the main material (wood) is harvested locally. A person even without special tool, but with more practical experience, will build a hunting winter hut quite quickly, but sometimes it happens that the whole day is spent adjusting the groove of one crown.

After erecting the furnace, you can proceed to internal work. In the winter hut you need light from a lamp or kerosene lamp, but you must strictly follow safety rules, because the housing is wooden. You also need to leave a supply of food and chop firewood.

Important Legal Issues

All land where forest-type vegetation is located, areas without forest but created for its restoration (clearings, clearings), lands in and near the forest belong to the state. The federal leadership develops forestry policy, distributes documents to localities, maintains a cadastre of forest lands, and makes decisions on changing the category of sites.

Is it possible to build a hut in the forest? Officially, a plot for construction in a forest can only be obtained if the category of land is changed. In the constituent entities, this is handled by the Forestry Department, and the transfer of land in undelimited territory is carried out by the Government of the Russian Federation.

To re-register land, you need to collect a large package of documents that will be considered at the local, regional and federal levels. The entire procedure can take up to a year or more. The process is complex and long. When submitting independently, there are no guarantees of results.

In many cases, it is easier to rent land for construction in the forest for 10-49 years. The tenant's responsibilities include improving the condition of the land, soil reclamation, environmentally friendly use of natural resources, and timely payment. On rented land you can grow seedlings, conduct Scientific research, collect medicinal herbs and edible resources, establish apiaries, hunt, cut down trees.

Free use of forest areas is possible. Upon application, you can receive a plot for a period specified in the law (usually up to 10 years). Servants of religion, northern ethnic groups, ordinary people for a certain type of activity (beekeepers can use the plots for up to 5 years), employees of organizations involved in forest protection and defense have the right to use the land free of charge.

Are hunting winter quarters illegal?

The issue of building winter huts on an undemarcated territory is an imperfection of the legislation. Commercial hunters work under a contract and quite officially; they are assigned hunting or fishing areas. In these areas, it is permissible to erect temporary residential buildings for overnight stays. It’s another matter if the houses are used illegally (by poachers) or for year-round living.

It turns out that it is possible to build a winter hut in the forest, although current legislation is still ambiguous on this issue. But to build a house intended for long-term living, you need to rent or buy land, and only then begin construction.

Of course, there are many illegal buildings in Russian forests. Some of them are even used for year-round living, but they were built by someone unknown and when, and are not registered anywhere, which means they are illegal and have no owner. Someone can appropriate or demolish such buildings with impunity.

Garden and hunting houses are becoming increasingly common in today's construction. A detached hunting lodge in the forest will provide a comfortable stay for a group of like-minded people who are passionate about this type of hunting. After a tiring walk through the forest in search of prey, resting in a comfortable home will become doubly pleasant.

The location of such a structure should be as convenient as possible and close to the hunting grounds. According to Russian legislation construction in protected areas and forests requires a special permit, the receipt of which is subject to the fulfillment of a number of conditions. If you want to build a hunting hut, which is presented in the video, be sure to be in the remote taiga - be prepared to spend several weeks visiting special authorities.

It is easier to purchase a plot of land in a populated area located in close proximity to a forest.

The procedure for issuing this document is determined by the Town Planning Code and Administrative Regulations. Permission can be obtained either independently from the architectural supervision department, or you can entrust this matter to the specialists of the contractor’s company. The second option is preferable especially for busy people.

The choice of contractor should be approached with special care - it is quite a costly matter. Perhaps you should listen to the recommendations of trusted acquaintances and friends.

On initial stage preliminary negotiations and consultations are held with specialists from the architectural bureau. In serious companies they strive to find for each client individual approach and try to interest him advantageous offers. To work on a project, it is necessary to determine the technical specifications, which are agreed upon with the customer. It is difficult for a person who does not have experience in this field to immediately formulate the requirements for the structure.

In this matter, specialists come to his aid. Consistent acquaintance with several projects will allow you to form your own idea of the subject. Special programs that form a spatial image of objects help well in this matter. If you don’t like anything proposed, then an individual design of a hunting lodge is developed in accordance with the wishes and capabilities of the customer.

Technical specifications and calculation and design work

Buildings of this type are usually built from wood, which looks most natural in the forest or on the edge. The building material for walls and partitions can be solid or glued timber, or with minimal machining. Each of the proposed options has its own characteristics.

The last word in choosing a specific material remains with the customer. Easiest to work with ready-made kits parts for houses made of timber. At woodworking enterprises, it is usually possible to achieve acceptable accuracy in the manufacture of mating parts, which reduces labor costs for fitting elements together. Such a house on a foundation prepared in advance can be assembled in just a few days.

Hunting house made of timber

During the formation process, the following characteristics are determined:

  • number of floors, residential and office premises and their geometric dimensions;
  • architectural style and volumetric-spatial solutions;
  • main building material;
  • type and main parameters of the supporting structure - foundation;
  • home equipment:, and the like.

The presence of special premises for toilets, bathrooms, as well as a catering unit and a built-in garage is specifically stipulated.

General architectural and spatial solutions

The style of a hunting lodge dictates very specific requirements for the structure being built. Appearance and interior design should speak about the functional purpose. When decorating the facade of a house, there will be details such as figured roof outlets, which professional carpenters call “roosters.” It would be nice to include in the project an open terrace at the level of the first or second floor, if available.

The interior of the hunting lodge is designed in accordance with the tastes of the owner. A set of required attributes for this style:

  • the presence of a main hall with a fireplace, the walls of which can be decorated hunting trophies the owner of the house;
  • the presence of a bathhouse or sauna;
  • one or more bedrooms.

An example of a hunting lodge interior design

Usually such a house doubles as a house and, accordingly, rooms are needed for temporary residents.

Rounded logs or beams have significant advantages over other building materials. Interior do not require additional finishing. On the contrary, exposed wood once again emphasizes the style of the building and its functional purpose. When determining the number of floors, preference is usually given to two-level buildings, which are somewhat more complex in design, but more efficient in terms of thermal energy conservation.

Typical layout two-story hunting lodge

Usually works on construction site laying the foundation begin with the onset of sustainable warm period. The type of supporting structure is determined at . For low-rise buildings made of wood, shallow strip foundations are predominantly used. During the work, the base is reinforced with steel or composite rods.

Parking. Construction of a house in the taiga for hunters

Here is our old and dear clearing, where our first residential building stood. The place was already heavily overgrown with young shoots and we already had to cut down the overgrown clearing. About five years ago I had to carry out a total weeding here, getting rid of thin, stunted birch trees that had grown as tall as me and had taken up all the free space in the clearing.

Started on July 25, 2009. In two days they cleared the place and laid the frame - the first crown, the basis of the entire future construction

We prepared logs for several future crowns, sawed them to size, and sanded them. Before leaving, they put in another half-wed.

There were days when it rained from morning until evening - sometimes drizzling, and sometimes downpour. Then we threw more wood into the fire so that we could come up and warm ourselves from time to time, put on chemical protective raincoats and continued working.

When it rained, our labor productivity dropped significantly. Raincoats did not provide much protection from the omnipresent moisture. The logs were slippery and resembled large bars of soap. It happened that in a day they only made half a crop. Well, the mood matched the weather - gloomy. But construction continued nonetheless. The floor has already been laid. Slowly but surely the crowns grew one by one. And now the outlines of the future hut are already visible (Max and I, in our language, called this “the contours are being drawn”). In something like this context: “Well, some contours are already being drawn!”

Started nearby roofing. We design and assemble the roof of our future home. It is much easier and more convenient to prepare a structure on the ground than on site; we invent the structure as construction progresses.

In the next photo there is a so-called line. This is our second most important tool after the chainsaw. We did it ourselves (or rather, Max did it). I have never seen anything like this in stores; it is needed for marking logs for making longitudinal grooves.

The very name of the tool already states its purpose. Logs are drawn with a line. After all, logs do not have an ideal shape, despite the apparent roundness and regularity of the shape, they have bumps, bulges, and unevenness from sawed knots. A line drawn along two logs marks all the irregularities and bends, and if you cut a groove along correctly drawn logs, they will fit tightly on top of each other, leaving no gaps.

The log to be drawn must be placed in the place where it will subsequently be located, and fixed so that it does not play, does not swing, and God forbid, does not fall. The more accurately the logs are drawn, the less work there will be later in adjusting them to each other. Therefore, there is no need to rush here. It happens, of course, that even a carefully drawn log does not want to lie in its place and you can spend half a day adjusting it. And it happens the other way around - I marked it hastily, but it lay down as if it had been there all the time. After the log is marked, you need to remove it, turn it over with our marks facing up, and select a groove with a chainsaw. First, we saw along, making three to five longitudinal cuts (depending on the thickness of the log).

Then we cut across, here the number of cuts is unlimited. The more often the transverse cuts are made, the easier it will be to select a groove later.

Select a groove with an axe, first you need to use a butt to knock out all the “cubes” that you sawed. And then clean and correct, trim the groove. (To my great regret, the photo of the log with the selected groove was not preserved). Then we turn the log over and place it on the log house on which the log was drawn, not forgetting to first put moss on the bottom log, preferably wet.

Now I'll do a little lyrical digression, which I will dedicate to the boards. Boards... Oh, this is probably the hardest part of the construction. There is no road to the winter quarters. They took us on a timber truck to an abandoned quarry. And then about 2 km - on yourself. There were 65 boards in total. Of these, 17 are forties and 48 inches. The boards are 3rd grade, damp and heavy. They wore it like this: first 1 forty + 1 inch (17 walkers). Then they moved all the inches, three boards at a time (10 moves). They wore it for three days, and they also took a little bit of the fourth.

Well, the frame has finally been raised. The ceiling is laid, the rafters are exposed. The contours are being drawn more and more clearly.

It's time to cut window hole. By the way, the frame with glass was found in an abandoned quarry. So the opening was adjusted to the size of the found frame.

The boards have been sewn on, and roofing felt needs to be laid on this side of the roof as well. I stand and think how it would be more convenient to do this. I tell Yulka: “I’ll probably have to put together a ladder, it won’t work without it.” In general, while I was thinking, I noticed how my wife had already climbed onto the roof and was shouting at me from there to bring the roofing material. “For us,” he says, “it will take half a day to build the stairs, but you can lay roofing felt anyway.

In general, I did not expect such construction talents in her. Yes, she did it all so cleverly. She pounded, nailed, and I was in the wings, like in that saying - bring it, give it, fuck off, don’t interfere! (joke).

We apply the final polish and eliminate minor defects. In one place the roofing felt was torn when they were unwinding it. Most likely, in the store where we bought it, it was stored lying down. I had to fill the hole. To do this, he set fire to a piece of roofing felt and dripped it with hot tar.

But the most solemn moment is the first lighting of the stove. That's it - the winter hut came to life, began to breathe. Now there is one more taiga hut. The mystery has happened...

The winter quarters have been built. And I finish my story. Let me summarize. Built from July 25, 2009 to August 23, 2009. Almost a month, intermittently. In general, the stand took a full 14 days. It could have been built faster, but the rains greatly interfered, reducing the pace of work to nothing.

In addition, 4 days out of 14 we carried boards and other materials. 10 liters of 92 gasoline and 10 liters of chain oil were consumed. The following building materials were required: 3rd grade "inch" board - 48 pieces, 3rd grade "magpie" board - 17 pieces, roofing felt - 2 rolls, "isover" insulation - 1 roll, and all sorts of small things - nails of different "calibers" , door handles, hooks, staples, and tools - axes, cleavers, nail pullers, etc.
We arrived at the winter hut in the evening. They boiled tea and lit the stove in the hut. At night we took some photos with flash. This is what our winter hut looks like from the inside.

They lit the stove, lit a fire, and boiled tea. Yulka, having taken another flu pill, lay down for a few minutes. As a result, I slept almost the entire day. I didn't wake her up - let her sleep. During this time, I insulated the door and door frame with strips of felt. I chopped some wood. He did everything without fuss, without rushing anywhere. But the most important thing is to insulate the gap where the pipe passes through the ceiling. On one hunting forum I asked for advice on how best to do it, many responded and were to the point. But I chose Dmitry’s (om_babai) advice as the simplest. Here are photos of how it was and how it turned out.

A real hunting lodge is a small structure built using minimum set construction tools and materials. Such a building serves primarily as a shelter from bad weather during hunting, fishing, as well as collecting forest gifts - berries and mushrooms.
As in any building, the basis of a hunting lodge is the foundation. Round timber is quite suitable for this purpose. Logs are needed using bayonet shovel peel off the bark and let them dry for six months. When you finally decide on the location for future construction, you need to lay logs around the perimeter. The walls of the house are built from scrap materials. The most accessible building material in the forest can be called round timber. You must first prepare required amount material. Iron brackets can be used as fastening.
Each row of trees is additionally lined with moss. In this case, the house will be warm at any time of the year. In addition, the hunting lodge will not need to be caulked additionally.
An indispensable attribute of any hunting lodge is a banquette. Don't forget about this piece of furniture when developing the design of your future house. And for complete comfort the mattress 140 190 will be comfortable, then sleeping in the house will be very comfortable and you can have a great rest after a tiring wandering through the forests and lakes. A comfortable mattress 140x190 is the most comfortable and optimal size for any room.
Use the same round timber as the ceiling. To do this, use a chainsaw to divide the logs in half. The ceiling is insulated with moss and earth.
If you want to build a building with a pitched roof, during construction it is enough to simply raise one side of the house and make a slope on the other. Iron sheets are suitable as a roofing material. This is the only material you will need to bring from a hardware store. If you plan to make windows and a stove in your house, you will also need brick and glass.
An adobe floor is best suited for a hunting lodge. To do this, mix one part of unfired fatty clay and three parts of straw or sawdust. This solution must be carefully placed on the logs and compacted thoroughly.
The inside surface of the walls must be thoroughly plastered. Wall mortar is made from one part clay and three parts sand. The walls must first be covered with thin slats, thus making a kind of lattice. The grate must be filled with mortar and carefully leveled. Now your hunting lodge is completely ready!

Laying technology for a simple shallow strip foundation

There are many structures that allow a person to create them independently without the use of heavy equipment and expensive materials. This can be said about residential premises, for example, hunting lodge. Its construction should not take much time, since it is only a way to hide from bad weather or other emergency situations. It is perfect for those who prefer hunting or fishing in one place.

Hunting lodge - how to choose an area

Typically, the size of such a building is small, since it does not require much space for personal belongings. Anything you need - This is to place your hunting equipment, and yourself. If you go hunting at night, then there will be a little more personal and hunting items. Don't forget that when going hunting at night, you will need thermal imaging sight. It allows you to see the thermal radiation emanating from animals at night.

How is the construction of a hunting lodge going?

To build a house quickly, but at the same time efficiently, you need to correctly determine the stages of construction, the necessary materials, dimensions, layout and other criteria. Let's consider the main stages of such construction:

  • As in any building, vintovojfundament.ru specialists need lay the foundation of. Round timber is perfect for a forest house. To create it, you need to clear the tree of bark and dry it for six months.
  • Level the selected area and lay the wood.
  • Of course, the main material for construction will be a log house. Select a tree, also remove its bark and process it. It is best that the logs are the same size. You will need metal staples to hold them together.
  • So that you can use the house in cold weather and not freeze, buildings need to be covered with moss. It will close the cracks well and retain heat.
  • It is tedious to make a pitched roof for a hunting lodge. It is best to use roofing felt or iron.
  • Make the floor clay concrete.
  • Inside the wall is a must plaster. To do this, you need to mix a solution of clay and sand in a ratio of 1 to 3.

Construction began in 2009 (2011 is the end), after much thought on how to reconstruct the old hut. My father built it. She was not his first and not his last, but at that time, he was about 25 years old, and then there were a lot of things they didn’t think about or think through. But one way or another, the hut stood for 30 years! The main idea is replacement lower crowns. But after digging up, we realized that it was easier to build a new one! The old hut was built for a maximum of 3 people, since it was not public, but exactly what a hunting and fishing hut should be. In those parts he hunted for squirrel and sable. It was built away from prying eyes. They never took strangers to see it, which is why it stood for so long. They wanted to build a new one using the same calculations. But, after several nights with a crowd of 5 people, we decided to increase it a little. And there it was already, off we go. And the logs were thick (I thought I’d get hemorrhoids!) and the height was raised (but the double floor solved this problem).

The blocks from the butt part of the logs went to the ceiling, which turned out to be simply monumental! The creepiest thing is that it was a dig! This is something with something! There is not earth there, but some strange soil, like fine crushed stone! They hammered with a pick and picked up with a shovel. It took us about 1.5 hours to remove 2 roots! 3 root, they simply split it in half with a wedge and did not remove it completely. In short, one way or another, what was not done was for the better. Not a single tree was destroyed in vain! Everything went into action! As a result, the commissioning of a new long-burning furnace is approaching. The door and frames were dismountable, as were the floorboards and bars on the windows; all this was thrown on a snowmobile. Here is the short report itself. Due to restrictions on the number of photos, I am posting only the highlights. August 2009 The hut was dug up on the sides of the walls and at the end. The picture is depressing. Due to the lack of earth as a support, the corners immediately moved apart. It became uncomfortable to spend the night.

During the same season they began to prepare the forest. The log house was placed higher and to the side. We decided that we would dismantle the old one and put a new one in its place.

The temporary shelter was the self-made tent with which my father hunted in the north. I have never slept so well as in this tent! The stove, from the hut, stood right there! I think the hunters here know the technology of such tents

We started disassembling

We dismantled and raised the new frame together

The “seam” is clearly visible; again, this is a hastily made decision about the door in the center. During 4 days of Physical Extermination of a Healthy Organism (PHYSO), devoured by midges, the head somehow did not immediately work The result was not long in coming

P.S. A little propaganda, with permission - During construction, NOT A GRAM OF ALCOHOL was drunk! My father and I escaped from the “Green Snake” back at the end of 2008. I RECOMMEND! ;)
